It don't want to work. Hopefully somebody can help me. In Xen 4.1 i only wrote the following line in my questconfig: vif = [ "bridge=eth0,script=vif-bridge" ] And everything works fine. This does not

received packet with own address as source address
Hi, we''re running 4 xen servers on our network with multiple network cards. During HighLoad we experince degeneration of inbound network traffic through our loadbalancer. I might found a reason for it, in Dom0 dmesg output looks as follows: [1157421.975910] eth0: received packet with own address as source address [1157421.975957] eth0: received packet with own address as source

Using network-script with Xen 4.4.1 (aka what will I do without xend?)
I normally use the network-script parameter in the '/etc/xen/xend-config.sxp' configuration file to configure network bridges. However, the latest release of Xen4CentOS (which comes with Xen 4.4.1) has xend disabled by default. Can I continue to use network-script without xend? If not what is the recommended method for automatically configuring network bridges with the latest release of

Creating bridged network
Dear Xen users, I''ve the xen hypervisor installed correctly on CentOS, and it boots correctly too. But the bridged network could not be configured using the commands and steps on the Internet... is it that hard to do in CentOS? Using network-script with Xen 4.4.1 (aka what will I do without xend?)
I have seen those documents, I did not see anything that indicates how _automatic_ bridge configuration could be enabled with xl. For my specific set up I have two bridges (xenbr0 -> peth0 & xenbr1 -> peth1). If I have to configure this manually with ifcfg scripts I will, but if an automatic method is provided or is possible with xl I'd prefer to use that. -Gene On Thu, Jan 29,

xen hotplug scripts not working
Hello Everyone, I have set up a xen server with 10 physical network devices using the bridge mode of XEN. This is because I want to split and separate the network traffic for security reasons. Maybe the best way is to use pci back hide. But I want to understand what is going on here. For all testings I have only activated eth[0-3]. My first tests were successful. I have created a VM using

adding static route via network setup fails
I want to add the following route command route add -net 192.168.2.0/27 gw 192.168.2.3 via the normal network setup. Unable to connect VMs to a bridge over bonded network on Debian 9 (works fine on Centos 7.4)
Hi, Sorry of this is the wrong list, trying to find some help. I am trying to set up 2 KVM hosts using Debian 9 (connecting to a 3 node Centos 7.4 gluster cluster) To get the bandwidth I have bonded 2 NICS each end. However while the network works fine for the Debian VM host the VM guests cannot connect/get an IP using DHCP connecting to br0. (Same setup on the Centos end works fine however)

Xen 3: Untethered bridges??
Hi There. I am in the process of "upgrading" my Xen 2.0.7 server with a Xen 3.0.2, though I am doing so on a different machine. My firewall will be running as a DomU, asit also does on the existing server. The new server is Ubuntu 6.06 and the existing server is Debian Sarge. On the existing server, I have the WAN interface hidden from Dom0 with the two other physical interfaces

SLES10 guest OSes drop off network.
I am having issues with guest OSes running on SLES10 (Sun 4200) hosts. Periodically, the guest OS system drops off the network. From the general network it is not pingable, consequently, ssh fails. If however, I log into the SLES10 server that is hosting the guest OS and ssh to the guest OS, then it becomes immediately pingable and accessible to the rest of the network. Almost like the

routing and virtual machines: how to access dmz if bridged to two networks
I am not quite sure if this issue relates to iptables, routing or Xen virtual machines. Too many variables for my simple mind, so I'm asking some advice :) This is my network setup: Internet --- eth2 + CentOS dom0 / firewall / router + eth1 (xenbr1) --- LAN with private IPs --- separate file server and workstations + eth0 (xenbr0)

xen 3.4.3 on CentOS 5.5 dom0: multiple nic issue -- eth1 won''t restart
Hi Folks: I have a strange problem with multiple (2) NICs on a CentOS 5.5 dom0 setup running xen 3.4.3 and have been struggling to fix it for some time. I could not find anything by googling or searching through this list but that is probably because I couldn''t figure out the correct search terms. After I configure my bridges the command "system network restart" fails for eth1
