XEN 4.1.2+Centos 6.2+Kernel 3.X
Hey hope this opne is a "make senser". Has anyone tried the "Subject line" combo?, I''ve compiled a dozen src.rpm kernel 3.0 and 3.1 packages with no luck to try native upstream Dom0 kernel support with no success, just a kernel oops and constant reboots. Intel HD4000 IGD pass through appears to work, but monitor complains about 'no signal'
I''ve seen a recent report claiming that it works: http://linux-bsd-sharing.blogspot.pt/2012/10/howto-xen-413-windows-8-hvm-domu-with.html However, in my case, with a slightly different HW configuration the story is totally different. :-( My config: HW: I7-3770 + AsRock H77M-ITX board Dom0: Debian Wheezy stock xen (v4.1.3) + Debian stock kernel (3.2.x / 3.6.x) 64 bit version. XL toolstack and drbd
Hej folks, I''m messing around with DRBD once again but with a new Xen 4.1.2 installation using the XL toolstack instead of the xend daemon. However, after getting my DRBD installed and a device operational, trying to create a domU using the drbd block device doesn''t want to work: xl create -c test.cfg Parsing config file test.cfg Unknown disk type: drbd My config has: disk

Kerberos and PAM
I am new to samba. I followed the docs on samba.com to configure samba as "domain member", security = domain, and to user winbind to authenticate users against windows 2003 AD. well, my question is the steps mentioned the use of PAM to do the authentications against the AD but it doesn't work - do I also need to configure kerberos for this type of installation? vif-common.sh and iptables
Hey everyone, I have a question about vif-common.sh. I run multiple bridges attached on dummy interfaces, which allow me to put guests in seperate subnets (routed through the dom0). As you might expect I already have quite extensive iptables scripts to accomidate this kind of routing. I was just hoping someone on this list can confirm, that I understand what the iptables lines in vif-common.sh

how to debug random server reboots
Hi all, One of our CentOS 5.3 randomly reboots, at different times of the day, and I can't see why it's doing it. I have looked through the logs, but don't see any thing in there that shows me why it has rebooted. How can I debug this? Here's a snipped from the log, around the time of the reboot: Jun 2 14:59:59 usaxen02 kernel: EXT3-fs: mounted filesystem with ordered data
