CentOS 7.3.1611 scap-security-guide issue
Hello, I have noticed that pci-dss profile, ssg-centos7-xccdf.xml will always fail on test and remediation for disable_prelink rule. That seem to be caused by insufficient CentOS RPM customization of upstream code. Specifically this: https://github.com/OpenSCAP/scap-security-guide/blob/master/shared/oval/disable_prelink.xml#L24-L35

cisco AS5300 : problem configuration
I wouldn't expect you to be using RFC3389 if your using A-law, can you include your IOS version and IOS config file ... I have not specified any allow's or disallow's in my * config for the codecs with my 5300, I also use Cisco 79xx phones and I use the option within the phones config file to select the preffered codec and when I change this to G.729/A-law/U-law all works perfectly

SIG - Hardening
I think, this SIG would/should care about hardening CentOS itself as a system not a complete environment (proxies, firewalls, etc.) The examples of the opener show this. Something else could be integrity checking possibly. I imagine a tool/script that could apply hardening stuff. Regards Tim Am 22. "Linux aux petits oignons" - Book about Linux, based on CentOS 5.x
Hi, I'm currently busy finishing "Linux aux petits oignons", a practical introduction to Linux, aimed primarily at the frustrated Windows user. This is the first of two volumes, it's written in french, and all examples in the book are based on CentOS. (Note: looks like I'll have to update some screenshots to 5.3 :oD) Usually the first question that arises is: why not
