Camp On configuration?
Is there a clever way to camp on an extension in asterisk? What I need is a
way to answer my extension (not just a ringing ZAP channel) from any other
phone. If I'm in another office and hear my phone ringing, I want to be
able to quickly pick it up from that extension. The list revealed the
pickupgroup parameter, but that looks like it will pick up any zap channel
that's ringing. This

Callback / Camp / Extention Free notify?
Hi,
I am trying to implement the callback feature of our old phone system.
This feature may go by a different name in asterisk?
It worked as follows. If phone A called phone B and it was BUSY, you
press a button to enable a callback.
User A is free to continue work or make other calls.
What this meant is that when both phones became free, phone A would
ring, on answer it would call phone B

Rails Camp Scaling Session notes
Here are some notes from the scalability session of last week''s Rails
camp. They were entered by another session participant and are posted
at:
http://www.rubyonrailscamp.com/10%3A15%2Bsession%2B-%2Bscaling
The key points from my point of view:
- the Ruby VM is sketchy, rather like the Java VM around 1997
- the single threaded nature of Rails dispatch handling means we may

certdnsnames question
Hi All
Apologies if this is obvious, but I''m a bit flaky around SSL certificates.
NB puppet version 0.25.5
We use the brilliant feature of certificates where you can have Alternate
DNS names for a certificate which is manifested in the puppet master config
file as certdnsnames. All our clients connect to puppet-$
location.example.com, and if $location is down, we can point the CNAME to

[LLVMdev] June 2007 LLVM Developer's Meeting
For those of you coming from out of the area and who may not be
familiar with the bay area.
TRAVEL:
The closest airport is San Jose International Airport (SJC; 10 miles
away). There is also San Francisco Internation Airport (SFO; 43 miles
away) or Oakland (OAK; 49 miles away). IMHO, I would choose SJC, then
SFO, and lastly OAK, depending upont he prices.

how does base camp manage there accounts
hi,
Cant find any information this anywhere so was wondering if anyone had
any ideas.
Basically when you go to basecamp.com it allows you to sign up for a
account and gives you a url username.projectpath.com
I was just wondering how they do this, and if each account has there own
database or if it is all stored in one.
thanks
scott

I would think I could do this but for some reason I am stymied.
I have a PRI from RCN connected to a cisco 3640 (in my day "cisco" is
all lower case :-)). My config looks something like this on the cisco...

Weird validation issue
Hi,
I''m having a weird validation issue. Validation isn''t working for
certain attributes and, for some reason, it''s also affecting things
outside of validation.
For campers on certain camp types, we require some information about
their school. I tried to validate the information this way:
validates_presence_of :school_type, :if => Proc.new { |c|

[PATCH] net_connect_*(): Wait for fd to complete connect(2) when fd is non-blocking
Hi,
Dovecot ignores EINPROGRESS on connect(2) for non-blocking fd.
This is wrong. After that, read(2) to fd (or write(2) to fd) fails
with ENOTCONN if the connection of fd is not completed.
The attached patch fixes this problem.
