Pbx_lua vs. calling lua thru AGI?
Hello
I'm taking a look at how to write scripts to be called from the
dialplan, and saw pbx_lua mentioned.
I'd like to know more about this feature, such as what the difference
is with just calling the Lua interpreter through AGI (same difference
as between php-cgi and mod_php?), whether it's production-ready, etc.
Thank you for any help.

Construction of a large sparse matrix
Dear List:
I'm working to construct a very large sparse matrix and have found
relief using the SparseM package. I have encountered an issue that is
confusing to me and wonder if anyone may be able to suggest a smarter
solution. The matrix I'm creating is a covariance matrix for a larger
research problem that is subsequently used in a simulation. Below is the
latex form of the matrix if

legend
I color some area grey with polygon() (with a red border) and then I
want to have the dashed red border in the legend as well. How do I
manage it?
And I want to mix (latex) expressions with text in my legend.
Just execute my lines below and you know want I mean. Or pass by at

replacing characters in matrix. substitute, delayedAssign, huh?
A user question today has me stumped. Can you advise me, please?
User wants a matrix that has some numbers, some variables, possibly
even some function names. So that has to be a character matrix.
Consider:
> BM <- matrix("0.1", 5, 5)
Use data.entry(BM) or similar to set some to more abstract values.

te( ) interactions and AIC model selection with GAM
Hello R users,
I'm working with a time-series of several years and to analyze it, I?m using
GAM smoothers from the package mgcv. I?m constructing models where
zooplankton biomass (bm) is the dependent variable and the continuous
explanatory variables are:
-time in Julian days (t), to creat a long-term linear trend
-Julian days of the year (t_year) to create an annual cycle
- Mean temperature

Can't get F77_CALL(dgemm) to work [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]
Hi
I am new to writing C code and am trying to write an R extension in C. I
have hit a wall with F77_CALL(dgemm) in that it produces wrong results.
The code below is a simplified example that multiplies the matrices Ab and
Bm to give Cm. The results below show clearly that Cm is wrong.

How to nicely display R code with the LaTeX package 'listings'?
Dear expeRts,
What's a 'good' (nice-looking, easy-to-read) setup for the LaTeX package
'listings' to display R code?
The two versions below are partly inspired by the settings of the package
SweaveListingUtils and
http://r.789695.n4.nabble.com/R-How-to-format-R-code-in-LaTex-documents-td816055.html
Any suggestions, comments, or improvements are welcome.
Cheers,
Marius

creating a "report" table from a set of lists
I've been trying to figure out how to accomplish the following...
I've got a list (returned from a function) and I would like to "cbind()" the
lists together to create a "cross tab" report or simply bind them together
somehow
the function returns a list that looks like the following:
> all$BM
$species
[1] "BM"
$vbar.nobs
[1] 3
$vbar.sum
[1] 54.05435

Help with nlme--freq weights, logit model, and more
Below you will find the output from a failed multi-level model run. I am

Problem on flexmix when trying to apply signature developed in one model to a new sample.
Dear
R Users, R Core Team,
I have a problem when trying to know the
classification of the tested cases using two variables with the function of flexmix:
After importing the database and creating
a matrix:
BM<-cbind(Data$var1,Data$var2)
I see that the best model has 2 groups and

[PATCH 00/21] Upgrade to Lua 5.2.2, add filesystem module and get_key binding
Hi,
This series targets automatic boot menu generation, but most of it
is the Lua upgrade, because I got tired reading deprecated API docs.
It's mostly a straightforward forward port of the earlier Syslinux
specific changes to Lua 5.1, except that:
* I chose the add a stub getenv() implementation to the COM32 API
instead of #ifdefing out all the references in Lua, and
* I kept oslib

Is there anyone know if BUGS language allows the combination of variables as response

Y[i] ~ dnorm(c,d)
It seems doesn't work in my model. The problem is between two ######.

glm family=binomial logistic sigmoid curve problem
I'm trying to plot an extrapolated logistic sigmoid curve using
glm(..., family=binomial) as follows, but neither the fitted()
points or the predict()ed curve are plotting correctly:
