Multiple Logins on same accounts from different stations
Hi, all I've recently upgraded to 2.1.16 and found my self in deep .... There are 4 accounts in my setup that need to be accessed simultaneously by 5-6 PCs on a local lan. The thing is if a user A updates, deletes, flags mail messages in the imap folders the changes don't get propagated to the other mail clients. To state this clearly, PC (A) thunderbird has an account SALES, Maildir

clim.pact: change group of stations object into a field
Hello, I have a question about one of the functions from package clim.pact. I am planning to perform canonical correlation analysis (CCA) with temperature stations data, I want to use clim.pact package for that. As I understood I should be able to use the function stations2field in order to group my stations objects into a field, so that I can include the result in CCA analysis. If I have

Windows stations don't recognize each other
Hi, I?ve got this problem and can?t find a solution. Maybe someone from the list have experienced something similar and can help me. I?ve made a migration from a NT server to ubuntu + samba +openldap with vampire. In the beggining it worked ok, the problem I?ve got now is that work stations XP can?t share resources (neither folders or printers ) between each other. When trying the access, it

AD username change in Linux Stations
Hello folks! I have some linux stations which authenticate in a MS AD server. We had to change the usernames accounts, but the SID remains the same. When I logon with the new account name, another home folder is created. Is there any way to point the new account name to the old folder name preserving the user files and confs? Thanks so much for the help. Best regards, -- *TĂșlio Henrique Alves

Some Ubuntu stations can't logon when I upgraded Samba DC
Hi: I have two DCs with debian 10 and Samba 4.7.4 working find. In my network, I have different OSs workstations: W7, W10, Ubuntu and Mint. They have been log-in every day without problem. And samba-tool dbcheck returns no error on both DCs. As the Samba version is too old, I wanted to upgrade first from 4.7.4 to 4.7.12 using the source code. ./configure make make install Just as I did

Wanted: Ogg Stations Directory
I've been thinking, yes not a good thing sometimes. I want to listen to Ogg Vorbis streams. As far as I know there is only the yp directory on Oddsocks website to easily find vorbis streams in one place, but it doesn't reflect the actual number of streams in existance. A carefully worded goggle search turns up quite a few more but it is time consuming to load every website, find the

Recommended stations on a server and slave domain controller
Hello, We are thinking about an alternative solution of Active Directory for a client so I have a few questions about SAMBA4. 1/ My first question is about a supposed or a recommended limitation of 1000 workstations on one server. I would like to know if this limitation is truly recommended or if an increase of 5000 machines is possible for one server. 2/ And finally about the slave domain

Geoblocking on Icecast stations (radionomy)
Hi, I stumpled upon Icecast, but I effectively can only play few stations because somehow most of the stations that I'm interested in use the radionomy service. After some research I found out that I'm not the only one and that this company is blocking many countries worldwide: https://www.google.com/search?q=this+radio+station+is+not+available+in+your+country+site:board.radionomy.com
