Does libvirt support HyperV Server 2012?
Hi, I wanted to know whether libvirt-1.2.10 supports HyperV Server 2012 and/or SCVMM Server 2012. There is a requirement for us to deploy a VHD image to the HyperV Server 2012 SP2. We are planning to do this using libvirt-1.2.10. Thanks Paddy

HyperV (win2012) storage on Samba4
Hi, I'm trying to expose a linux share via Samba4 to serve as a VM backing store (storage) for HyperV VMs running on Win2012 R2 Standard server. The system details are: Intel(R) Xeon CPU. 64 bit operating system. I'm not sure if SMB3 is fully supported by Samba 4(codebase corresponds to "master" git branch). The VM deployment fails while trying to create *.vhdx file; the error

Wiki: Howtos/Virtualization/HyperV
Hello, I've written a couple of articles about CentOS on my personal blog that i'd like to share. As mentionned py pschaff on the CentOS 5 forum ( https://www.centos.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=30474&forum=37 ), there could be a need of an article explaining how to virtualize CentOS 5 in HyperV. As i wrote my articles in french, i'm willing to translate them so

Windows 7 guest not starting with HyperV features enabled
Hi, I have a Windows 7 SP1 Pro 64-bit VM which works fine on libvirt 2.3.0 and Qemu 2.7.0. If I enable HyperV features (https://libvirt.org/formatdomain.html#elementsFeatures) like "relaxed", "spinlocks" etc - VM doesn't boot. "Starting Windows" text appears for ~2 seconds (no flying dots, no logo) and then it just goes to black screen. If I switch HyperV

Xapian and GSoC 2014
Hi Tejas, Thank you for your interest in Letor project in Xapian. We would definitely like to consider Letor for this year's GSoC project. What I would suggest you is, start playing with the code and get acquainted with it. The latest code can be obtained from http://trac.xapian.org/wiki/ GSoC2012/LTR Regards, Parth. Next Steps.
Hey guys, I had introduced myself earlier on IRC. I talked to Parth and had a brief chat with Olly, but just to re-iterate I'm Tejas Nikumbh, and I'm interested in contributing to Xapian for GSoC this year. I'm specifically interested in letor and weighing schemes projects. I've been able to build xapian on my machine without any errors via the Guidelines on the Hacking

sporadic slow/non response, problems copying to sent folder
After experiencing these symptoms through many of the release candidates, we've been at v1.0.0 now for a few weeks, and they're still there. Perhaps a config issue with my setup (mbox locks?). It's really too disrupting to continue using this way. I've included symptoms, client info, mta info, log entries and config file. What other information can I provide? Please
