Modifying CDR values from a hangup extension in Asterisk 13
Hi,
Reading this old thread, may I ask if keeping hangup handlers from updating
CDR values still enforced in Asterisk 15 ?
If positive, would it be very complex to add in Asterisk, a configuration
option allowing a system administrator to list in cdr.conf, the CDR fields
allowed to be updated in hangup handlers ?
I'm planning to store some RTCP stats.
Saving them in CDR(userfield) would be

Error saving cdr at h exten in Asterisk13
Dears,
I need to save some information on userfield when calls end in Asterisk13, but I have two error cases:
1. With endbeforehexten=no in cdr.conf, I have a registry in cdr, but userfield is not set.
2. With endbeforehexten=yes, I have two lines in cdr, one with duration, src e dst correct, and a second line with userfield setting and dst h.
I am using cdr_odbc.conf, with Asterisk11.14.0 it

Duplicate CDRs
Hi
For whatever reason we've getting 2 or 3 CDR lines logged for each call,
often in different formats:

Modifying CDR values from a hangup extension in Asterisk 13
Hi,
I'm trying to migrate from Asterisk 1.8 to Asterisk 13 and can't figure
this one out. I'm pretty sure the question has been already asked, but I
failed to find a solution.
Can you modify CDR values in an h-extension?
My cdr.conf contains:
[general]
enable=yes
unanswered=yes
endbeforehexten=yes
initiatedseconds=no
batch=no
The diaplan contains a simple "h" extension

Modifying CDR values from a hangup extension in Asterisk 13
With endbeforehexten=no I actually get two CDR entries. One for the call
and a second one for the "h" extension.

This is a lousy option for backups. The only way to get my original links back
is to pull the restore through rsync. Restoring directly from the rsyncd server

reshape (a better way)
Hi,
I am using the NLSY79 data (longitudinal data from the Bureau of labour
stats in the US). The extractor exctracts this data in a "wide" format and
I need to reshape it into a long format.
What I am doing right now is to do it in chuncks for each and evry
variable that is varying and then I merge the data together. This is
taking a long time. my question is:
How do I specify that

RFC 5258 violation: incomplete response for "LIST ($OPT RECURSIVEMATCH) ..."
Hi there,
RFC 5258 (IMAP4 LIST command extensions) defines a ?RECURSIVEMATCH?
selection option which ?forces the server to return information about
parent mailboxes that don't match other selection options, but have some
submailboxes that do.? (Section 3.5 makes the requirement even clearer.)
However that's not what Dovecot 2.3.7 does. AFAICT no LIST response is
returned for mailboxes

PJSIP vs SIP channeltype
Hello,
I'm currently evaluating asterisk 13 (Currently on 11). We're testing the
migration from SIP to PJSIP. Is there a way to alias the SIP channeltype
to PJSIP when exlusively using pjsip?

.call file and logging
I am writing a cron script to check if certain
extensions are online and if they aren't then Asterisk
creates a couple of .call files to notify another set
of extensions or external numbers.
It works fine except for logging information.
What I'm doing in the script is setting a "fake"
caller ID (as it's generated by Asterisk, not by a
user) and calling out real users.

1.6, CDR and h extension
I have two version 1.6 Asterisks running. One is a small hobbyist
thing just at home, and the other is handling calls for several
customers.
On both, I have added the line
exten => h,1,Set(CDR(hangupcause)=${HANGUPCAUSE})
to all relevant contexts.
On my little hobbyist box this works perfectly; all calls have their
hangupcauses recorded with cdr_adaptive_odbc and cdr_custom. On the

Regarding cdr_manager.conf
Hello,
My question is.. How does cdr_manager work? Does it suppose to populate
cdr-csv/Master.csv? What about the cdr table on the database? What is the
event some people talk about?
I have changed (and reloaded) my configuration of cdr_manager.conf to

CDR issue - Problem logging CDR(userfield) in Master.csv
Dear all,
I am having an issue with CDR logging. What I want to do is log jitter
variable from RTPAUDIOQOS module into Master.csv at the end of each call.
I am using asterisk version 1.4.26. For CDR purposes, I am using
cdr_custom, and the content of my cdr_custom.conf is the following:

Voicemail help
I would like to setup Asterisk for voicemail with CallManager 3.3(5). I would like to know what would be the best Distro of Linux to use and version, what version of Asterisk works best to interact with CallManager, and what H323 ChannelType works. As you probably read in another thread I tried FC5 with Asterisk 1.4 and OOH323 (included with the addons package). This doesn't seem to work to

This was always possible in the past, however does not work in the current release.
I believe this is a bug.

best way to represent this pseudocode in LLVM IR?
Greetings,
I implemented a proof of concept of something I'm calling "error return
traces" in my frontend (screenshot and explanation at this link):
https://github.com/zig-lang/zig/pull/684
Now I'm trying to minimize the runtime size.
Here's some example IR that I generate:

[LLVMdev] Status of YAML IO?
Michael,
To validate the refactor of YAML Reader/Writer using YAML I/O. I updated all the test cases to be compatible with YAML I/O. One issue that was a gnarly was how to handle the test cases with archives. Currently, we have test cases like:
---
atoms:
- name: foo
# more stuff
---
archive:
- name bar.o
atoms:
- name: bar
# more stuff

No cdr_csv after upgrade from 1.2.x to 1.4.x
After upgrading from 1.2.x to 1.4.x call detail records are not being
written to /var/log/asterisk/cdr-csv/Master.csv
In cdr_manager.conf I have
[general]
Enabled = yes
Apparently there is something else that needs to be configured for call
detail records in 1.4.x. Can someone point me in the right direction?

FW: Writing Hangup causes to CDR record
Hi guys,
I'm trying to write hangup causes from asterisk into the CDR record.
Using version 1.4.24.1 at the moment, but no joy so far.
Has anyone implemented this?
