We've been successfully installing Linux using pxelinux to bootstrap our Linux (CentOS) installs for many years, but we are about to take delivery of hardware that doesn't have legacy BIOS boot support for internal drives - so I'm making my first foray into the world of EFI - and can _almost_ get it all to work, but hit an issue that I'm not sure how to 'fix' ...

I'm trying to follow the guids

syslinux EFI?
Hi, I see that 6.x release is out. UEFI support is included. How can I boot Windows 2008 through EFI? What steps of configuration pxelinux I should follow? Also can I boot both BIOS and EFI client from one pxelinux environment? My configuration is syslinux(pxelinux) + ISC dhcp. Thanks.

EFI & PXE-booting: very slow TFTP performance on a VMWare test setup
Dear people on the Syslinux Mailinglist, Are there any known problems with the performance of TFTP in (U)EFI environments in general or maybe just on VMWare? Right now I'm running tests on two virtual environments using either VMWare Workstation 11.1.0 on a Fedora 21 system or VMWare Player 7.1.0 on an Ubuntu 14.10 system. Both virtual systems support PXE booting in UEFI mode. Both systems

Suggested update to the Wiki page on PXElinux (UEFI-related stuff in ISC dhcpd.conf)
Dear gentlemen, here goes the documentation fix I was talking about :-) The Wiki page on PXElinux, specifically the chapter on UEFI at the end of that page: https://wiki.syslinux.org/wiki/index.php?title=PXELINUX#UEFI ...contains a few examples of ISC DHCPd configuration. The stumbling block for me was the syntax of these "if" scopes: if option architecture-type = 9 { filename

Using syslinux.efi while doing UEFI HTTP boot iso PXE boot
Hi, We are currently testing PXE booting with syslinux.efi in UEFI mode. This is working fine. However the loading of syslinux.efi and the config files is still using TFTP protocol, the rest kernel and initrd is loaded using HTTP protocol. We would like to use only HTTP protocol. In UEFI it is possible to use HTTP boot instead off PXE boot. Questions: 1. If we load syslinux.efi with HTTP will

Boot another *.efi from SYSLinux?
Hi! I am currently trying upgrade my bios pxe server with additional uefi support. My current using memtest86+ doesn't seem to support uefi, so I would have to use memtest86, as it supports this. But the memtest86 file itself is an *.efi file. When booting this one directly without syslinux, its working. But I want to launch it later from the syslinux menu. Can I chainload somehow another
