oh323 compile problem in FreeBSD
Hi,
I'm trying to compile asterisk-oh323-0.7.1 in FreeBSD 5.3.
I tried to use gmake but it exits with too many errors.
Did somebody compile before oh323 in FreeBSD?
How should I compile it under FreeBSD?
thanks,
Ganbold

Problems building 4.8 STABLE
I tried rebuilding yesterday. It failed [I don't recall the
output].
I then completely deleted the /usr/src and /usr/obj, and cvsuped
again last night [Approx 7PM on 2003-06-23]. I set the machine
up with a buildworld and went to bed.
This am I looked at the nohup.out file that was generated and it
had failed.
I took out the NOMAN=false in /etc/make.conf - as it appeared

FreeBSD Patch question
I administer a remote server and want to apply some of the security patches. (I assume this is the best way to go since I can't go into single-user mode to use CVsup).
I have a couple of questions. First, I have installed one of the pgp ports to verify the patches. When I run it, I get this message:

panics on 24 hour boundaries
Hi stable, nice you see you again. I was one of those guys who was seeing
constand panics on 24 hour boundaries but couldn't provide a backtrace due
to the ar device not taking a dump. I installed a dedicated drive just to
take the dump, and then didn't have a panic for a couple weeks. Now, I am
back with, and I have traces to share.
The first two, from 2003-09-27 and 2003-09-28

e2fsck on ext3 is 10x slower than ext2
Hi.
I'm using Debian. Is this a Redhat-only list, or is it only hosted by RedHat?
I recently changed my filing systems over to ext3, but deliberately left the
forced boot check parameters alone so my system checks after 20 mounts.
I notice that the fsck takes a good ten times longer than under ext2, to
perform the cleanly unmounted check. (On the occasion where I did unmount
dirtily, the

Access rights between AGI and Web server?
Hello
I run AGI scripts from extensions.conf to save data into an SQLite
database file, but this file must also be accessible in read-write
mode by PHP scripts served by Lighttpd.
As far as I can tell, Asterisk runs by default as root:wheel. I don't
know if AGI scripts also run as root:wheel.
Lighttpd runs as www:www, and if I create a new SQLite database
through PHP scripts, they're

boot problem in HP Proliant ML370 G4
Hi,
I have strange problem when booting FreeBSD-6.x in HP Proliant ML370 G4.
The problem is "-" appears on the screen and it never boots unless
somebody hits the
"Enter" key. Sometimes even PS2 keyboard doesn't respond during that
time. Tried with
USB keyboard, same problem.
The machine has dual Xeon 3.2 GHz, 1GB of RAM and LSI Logic

Well, that it does! And it's saying the script is "not up to date" and tries to recompile it. However, I'm not sure why it would say it's NOT up to date, it most certainly was

keyboard activity logging in FreeBSD
Hi,
I would like to log all keyboard activities in all ttys in my FreeBSD 5.2 box.
Is there anyway to do it? I read the watch man page and it seems like
I should run watch with tty as many times as number of ttys. Am I right?
Also is it possible to do the log in invisible way?
The main reason is to log all commands typed in shell and tty and send the
log to the remote server.
How can I
