The Debian Plan
Hello Folks, After all the troubles people have had with Debian I realize that what I''ve done still isn''t enough for smooth sailing. I''m now going to hold back the 0.3.13.4 release in order to put an end to the Debian problem once and for all. I''m currently planning the following changes: 1) Specific documentation for Debian. Debian will become the only

New Centos User - Yum Repositories Question
I've been using Red Hat and its derivatives since RH4.2. I use Fedora Core 6 for all of my desktop machines, but I decided to go for Centos 5 for my new colo web server. So I've just taken delivery of a new Centos 5 virtual server from Bytemark (http://bytemark.co.uk/) and I'm trying to get it set up with all the RPMs that I'm used to from FC6. As I understand it, the Centos

URL of website doesn't point anymore to CentOS/Drupal installation
sorry for the vague subject, but I couldn't find a better one. I have the website http://digifreedom.net running on a Centos 4 VPS with Apache and Drupal 6.10 . This is a multisite Drupal setup: only one installation, with subdirectories in sites/, and a separate mysql database for each website. For several reasons, I had setup DNS, drupal and everything to work without the www prefix on

[OT] Shared hosting for Rails projects
To much of my dissapointment, the uptime on my TxD account does not improve. What alternatives do we have for hosting Rails projects on shared accounts? I would love to keep lighttpd and the level of control I have on TxD but wouldn''t like to spend much more (I am currently on the 25$/month plan). I won''t need much support, but I would love to have subversion

Good and Bad Experiences with Hosting Companies
I''m about to get hosting for an on-line shop application in the UK. I''m leaning towards Bytemark, as they seem to have the right product range and attitude. Support sound knowledgeable and helpful and they show a marked preference for Debian, which I happen to be fond of. Has anyone tried them? Has anyone had good or bad experiences with other hosting companies

win32-service - where''s the gem?
Hi - I''m trying to install Mongrel, and therefore must install the win32-service as a dependency. I''m behind a firewall, so typically I download the gem and install it locally -- that''s never been a problem. But there doesn''t appear to be a gem for win32-service on RubyForge, just a .zip. I''ve downloaded the zip, extracted, built and installed

Re: Mount URL as cdrom/iso KVM/QEMU
Resolved this morning, the issue is that the qemu-kvm-ev rpm's released by centos have not been compiled with curl support, I rebuild it myself from source with curl support and it works fine now. Thanks you for your input everyone. ________________________________ From: Vasiliy Tolstov <v.tolstov@selfip.ru> Sent: 09 August 2018 10:32:07 To: Inception Hosting Cc:

Server CommonName mismatch: localhost.localdomain
Hello, I have seen via google that this very problem was already discussed on this and other lists some months ago, but the archives report no solution. I have dovecot 1.0-0_12.beta8 on Centos 4.3. IMAP works just fine: I can read email from both Squirrelmail via web and Kmail. Now I have created an ssl certificate and I'm trying to use it via pop3. When I launch fetchmail I get the error
