Windows port of NUT: questions
Dear friends, For some reason, which is not easy to explain here, I would like to use NUT on Windows XP. I fully understand that this is a BETA code, but I would like to receive some help, if available. So, after having tried many things, I have not got things going. My question: Is it OK to post my configuration files here, to eliminate obvious mistakes and receive advise from other

vlmc - "In vlmc(traffic.clusters.stationary, cutoff = i) : alphabet with >1-letter strings; trying to abbreviate"
Dear all (copying the package author), I have a question on the vlmc package. I am trying to model a time series, where each element can take one of 11 values (the result of some clustering). When I run the following command (synthetic data to facilitate self-contained example) I get the following warning: ("alphabet with >1-letter strings; trying to abbreviate") +++ START+++ >

Qemu crash detection clarification
Hi, I am interested in the API of libvirt to detect the evnt that a domain has crashed. I am using QEMU hypervisor. I saw through a commit https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=636164 that a panic device has been added. However in the TODO list http://wiki.libvirt.org/page/Todo#Hypervisor_driver I found out that crash detection is not supported. What is the status of QEMU crash

[LLVMdev] GCMetadataPrinter::finishAssembly not executed?
Yiannis, Pedro, I'm not an expert here. Taking closer look I see that it makes sense to do this cleanup job in doFinalization() of the pass, which requested GC info. So the current fix seems to be ok and all external clients will need to do cleanup directly doing the same jobs as Printer::doFinalization() does now. By the way, I've just noticed that comments for GCModuleInfo::clear()

[LLVMdev] GCMetadataPrinter::finishAssembly not executed?
Yiannis, - /// clear - Resets the pass. The metadata deleter pass calls this. + /// clear - Resets the pass. The metadata printer pass calls this. I would propose different text here: /// clear - Resets the pass. Any pass, which uses GCModuleInfo(), should call it in doFinalization(). Does it make sense? -Dmitry On Wed, Feb 27, 2013 at 7:21 PM, Yiannis Tsiouris <gtsiour at

help configuring netboot over remote serial terminal
Hi Folks, I'm trying to install Debian onto a headless server (Supermicro X8SIE-LN4F motherboard). The on-board IPMI BMC redirects the serial port to COM3, and I can talk to it just fine over a remote console connection. I've been trying to install Debian remotely, and have the DHCP and TFTP servers working, and things seem to work (at least into the Splash screen) if I'm using

[LLVMdev] GCMetadataPrinter::finishAssembly not executed?
Hello Yiannis, I am not an expert on metadata or the CG information but one of the two has to happen: - Simply moving the deleter pass to a different spot - Changing the doFinalization of another pass (Printer?) to do the deleter pass job (this should work now because the doFinalization order is the reverse of the doInitialization order) Option 1 is a smaller change, option 2 will make the code

nfs causes Centos 7.7 system to hang
Hello, MERRY CHRISTMAS to all in list! After I upgraded to latest: CentOS Linux release 7.7.1908 (Core) I am facing nfs crashes which cause the system to hang frequently. This is caused by cp to nfs-mounted shares. Below is dmesg output; you will see call traces. These cause system to gradually overload: [root at hesperia1 ~]# top top - 10:09:40 up 10:16,? 1 user,? load average: 53.66,

[LLVMdev] RFC: ErLLVM - Implemented HiPE Calling Convention
This patch (and the others that will follow) are rebased on svn r155440: "AVX2: The BLENDPW instruction selects between vectors of v16i16 using an i8 immediate. We can't use it here because the shuffle code does not check that the lower part of the word is identical to the upper part" Patch 1/3: The attached commits add a new calling convention to support the LLVM backend for
