XML getNodeSet syntax for PUBMED XML export
I am looking for the syntax to capture XML tags marked with /DescriptorName MajorTopicYN="Y"/ , but the combination of the internal space (between "Name" and "Major" and the embedded quote marks are defeating me. I can get all the "DescriptorName" tags, but these include both MajroTopicYN = "Y" and "N" variants. Any suggestions?

I can get the search to export the data as an xml feed and the xml package seems to be able to read it. xmlTreeParse("

bigglm "update" with ff
Hi, since bigglm doesn't have update, I was wondering how to achieve something like (similar to the example in ff package manual using biglm): first <- TRUE ffrowapply ({ if (first) { first <- FALSE fit <- bigglm(eqn, as.data.frame(bigdata[i1:i2,,drop=FALSE]), chunksize = 10000, family = binomial()) } else { fit <- update(fit,

one problem
Dear Mr/Mrs I need to generate a random data only with (0.23, 0.56, 0.45, 0.85, 0.7) with known mean, SD, correlation length, in a matrix 50*50. I know R coeds but in this case, I could not find to generate only with finite numbers that I have. Please guide me . Best Regards Nooshin [[alternative HTML version deleted]]
