[LLVMdev] LLVM disassembler bugs
Test case attached. It is not a test case that works within the llvm
test-suite yet, but it does demonstrate the problem.
I would like some advice on how to modify this test_case so that it can be
added to the automated llvm test cases.

[LLVMdev] Looking for ideas on how to make llvm-objdump handle both arm and thumb disassembly from the same object file
Hello Tim, Rafael, Renato and llvmdev,
I’m working to get llvm-objdump handle both arm and thumb disassembly from the same object file similarly to how darwin’s otool(1) works. And I’m looking for implementing direction. I spoke to Jim Grosbach about some ideas and he suggested I send out and email about some of the possibilities. Since none of the ones I could think of are pretty he thought

[LLVMdev] LLVM disassembler bugs
The attached patch includes no test-case and isn't consistent with the rest
of the file:
- constants should be on the right hand side of comparisons
- the braces around your single line 'if' aren't needed.

[Lutz.Jaenicke@aet.TU-Cottbus.DE: 2.9p1: HP-UX 10.20 utmp/wtmp handling broken?]
Hi!
I am resending the following message about problems with utmp handling.
* In the meantime I had some request in private mail from people asking
whether I have new information.
* The problem is still persistant in 2.9p2.
* My own new investigations show, that the problem only appears with
protocol 2, not with protocol 1, I therefore only started to note it
when protocol 2 became the

[LLVMdev] x86 disassembler: if-statement with redundant branch
Hi there!
In the x86 disassembler I noticed an if-statement with a
duplicated branch. Are these intended to be identical?
Best regards,
Nicolas Kaiser

Values of cpu_weight and cpu_cap are lost after xend restart
For managed domains in state ''halted'' I always get default values
for cpu_cap / cpu_weight after xend restart.
This is because the names of parameters differ between a SXP file to

Upgraded to 2.9p1 with no luck..
Howdy,
After upgrading to 2.9 (OpenSSH_2.9p1, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL
0x0090600f)
I'm unable to ssh between two systems any more (the two that I've upgraded).
I've recompiled from the original source several times, each time with no
errors,
regenerated host keys, regenerated client keys (using rsa), etc., to no
avail.
Below are some relevant snippets of debugging output

[LLVMdev] MC disassembler for ARM
Hi,
I'm considering to use MC disassembler for ARM target in a binary
translation project. However after trying some ARM binary and I find that
there are a lot of instructions that the disassembler fails to to decoding.
Could anyone give me some information about the maturity of ARM
disassembler?
Thanks!
David

[LLVMdev] Disassembler Issue
I'm having trouble getting TableGen to generate disassembler code.
The issue is that I have several TableGen definitions that emit the
same instruction encoding. This results in TableGen complaining about
encoding conflicts (and not handling those instructions).
For example, general purpose registers in the architecture I'm
targeting can hold floating point or integer values. As such, I

Rprof fails in combination with RMySQL
Dear R community,
I tried to optimized my R code by using Rprof. In my R code I'm using MySQL
database connections intensively. After a bunch of queries R fails with the
following error message:
Error in .Call("RS_MySQL_newConnection", drvId, con.params, groups, PACKAGE = .MySQLPkgName) :

[LLVMdev] X86 Disassembler
I was away doing other things for a while, but I have an API patch
separated out, which (in addition to being much smaller than past
megapatches) corrects two issues Chris identified in his most recent
set of patches:
- First, it makes the API a good deal simpler. Now, you can
instantiate a single MCDisassembler and, each time you want an
instruction disassembled, you can simply pass

poisson regression with robust error variance ('eyestudy')
Dear all,
i am trying to redo the 'eyestudy' analysis presented on the site
http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/stata/faq/relative_risk.htm
with R (1.9.0), with special interest in the section on "relative risk
estimation by poisson regression with robust error variance".
so i guess rlm is the function to use. but what is its equivalent to the

neg-bin clustered analysis in R?
Dear All,
I'm analysing a negative binomial dataset from a population-based
study. Many covariates were determined on household level, so all
members of a household have the same value for those covariates.
In STATA, there seems to be an option for 'clustered analysis' for
neg-bin regression. Does an equivalent exist for R(MASS)'s glm.nb or a
comparable function?
Many thanks for

I did some more experiments and also saw the problems.
They occur when using a 0.9.6-beta client to connect to 0.9.5a and 0.9.6-beta
servers.
They also occur when using a 0.9.5a client connecting to a 0.9.6-beta

blockwise sums
I am looking for a function like
my.blockwisesum(vector, n)
that computes sums of disjoint subsequences of length n from vector
and can work with vector lengths that are not a multiple of n.
It should give me for instance
my.blockwisesum(1:10, 3) == c(6, 15, 24, 10)
Is there a builtin function that can do this?
One could do it by coercing the vector into a matrix of width n,
and then use
