sieve script not executed?
Hello. I'm trying to set up a vacation autoresponder but up to now, no success. I'm using dovecot managedsieve to set up the new filter and to my understanding it works correctly and it creates in the user's home the link .dovecot.sieve that points to sieve/managesieve.sieve ~$ cat .dovecot.sieve require ["date","relational","vacation"]; #

Changing ring cadence on FXS lines
Is there a way I can change the ring cadence on FXS lines on a system using a Digium Wildcard TDM2400 card? I recently deployed a new phone system, and the customer has a few POTS phones in areas where they don't have data network services, so we're using the FXS lines to provide dialtone at those outbuildings. The old phone system would ring those phones with a short ring-short

How to make an X100P answer only one distinctivering cadence?
>Another option is Aastra's Ring Selectors. They can "split" a line into >multiple lines by ring cadence. > >http://www.aastra.com/Products/RingSelectors/index.html Don't you then have to wait 4 rings b4 an extension will get a * dial ? This devices must wait 2 rings to detect the cadence then * is gonna wait 2 rings trying to get CallerID which I think it will NEVER

How to make an X100P answer only one distinctive ring cadence?
Hi All... Is it possible to cause asterisk to answer some distinctive ring patterns but not others? I have a POTS line plugged into an X100P and I would like * to ignore one ring cadence that is answered by a fax machine. How would I do that? Thanks...

need ipfw clarification
Hello, I noticed that after enabling firewall in my kernel (5.3-release), my dmesg now gives me this: ipfw2 initialized, divert disabled, rule-based forwarding disabled, default to accept, logging limited to 5 packets/entry by default On 5.2.1, I used to get this: ipfw2 initialized, divert disabled, rule-based forwarding enabled, default to accept, logging disabled If both cases, I am

Distinctive Ring Cadences
Hello All, I am looking for a way to do priority call ringing. That is when a caller places a call to another party, they can indicate that the call is a priority and get a different ring to occur (ring cadence) on the called parties phone. This would be synonymous to an intercom ring on a key system. After some investigation, I have come across the ability of the GS BT101 which will ring

Adding predicted values as a new variable in a data frame
I am running a regression: ols.reg1 <- lm(y ~ x1 + x2 + x3 + x4) on a data.frame and then generating fitted values: y.hat <- ols.reg1$fitted.values Then I would like to add these fitted values to the data.frame as a new variable. The problem is that when the values are predicted the resulting output has too few rows. for some reason certian observations do not get predicted values. So

help with oop in R - class structure and syntex
Hi, I read section 5, oop, of the R lang doc, and I am still not sure I understand how to build a class in R for oop. I thought that since I understand the oop syntex of Java and VB, I am wondering if the R programmig experts could help me out by comparing and contrasting the oop syntex in R with that of Java. For example, the basic class structure in Java is like this: public class Bicycle {

Red Hat commercial support for CentOS/Fedora
Someone told me that if you have a CentOS or Fedora server, you can pay a Red Hat yearly fee and get them to support it (because the environments are so similar). Can anyone here substantiate this claim? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Fax and dial-up connection issues
I have a pretty large setup on one of my customers. Digium TE420B (with echo cancelling module), 3 Xorcom Astribanks with 32 FXS each and 1 Xorcom Astribank with 16 FXO. These FXO ports are NOT used for fax/data transmission, as they are connected to cell phones. Not really related to the issue, but there are also 250 SIP phones. The problem is that fax and dial-up connections are really

some questions about busy detection
I'm going to be hooking FXS lines on a TDM400 to a PBX which doesn't drop line voltage at the end of a call, so I'm going to have to use busy detection. A few questions - The tones are taken from the tones specified by the zone in zaptel.conf, right? Which tones cause hangup? The PBX may not use the national standard tones. Does anyone have any suggestion for how I can

Virt SIG roadmap
As promised, in preparation for next week's SIG meeting, here's a kick-off discussion about the Virtualization SIG roadmap. I'm mainly tossing out ideas here -- see this is an invitation to discussion. Key things I think should be on the roadmap: * Release process - General cadence - Estimate of the next release (if any) * Specification of targets - Right now, mainly xen4centos

Interface with PBX
Hi Folks, I'm trying to interface * with a PBX, but seems that his ring cadence is somewhat different, and my T100 doesn't show any call coming in. I've tried to change zaptel to new values but still couldn't make it work. Is there any other place where I should be changing some parameter? Is there any tool to measure the cadence timing that this pbx is providing? Thanks!
