Errors attaching VBDs to dom0 VM
Hi,
I''ve been touring XCP and making my way around it for the last few
days, and am having problems with some reasonably straightforward
actions. I''ve poured a several hours into different ways of resolving
the issue, but am coming up short.
Here''s the main issue. The following command (plugging in a VBD to
the dom0 VM), when, run, hangs for several minutes, and then

puppet-gluster from zero: hangout?
Hey james and JMW:
Can/Should we schedule a google hangout where james spins up a
puppet-gluster based gluster deployment on fedora from scratch? Would love
to see it in action (and possibly steal it for our own vagrant recipes).
To speed this along: Assuming James is in England here , correct me if im
wrong, but if so ~ Let me propose a date: Tuesday at 12 EST (thats 5 PM in
london - which i

Introducing... JMWBot (the alter-ego of johnmark)
Yes, it's true.
I've been up late hacking on Gluster (and Puppet-Gluster)...
While waiting for my code to compile, patch review (*cough*), and for
JMW (aka johnmark) to take care of a few todo items, I realized I had
never written an IRC bot!! Now I never aspired to be the bot master that
JoeJulian is, but I figured I needed this notch on my hacker belt...
Therefore, I'd like to

League of Legends - Beta in Wine
I just got into the League of Legends beta and I know it's asking for a lot to get a game in it's beta working but I cannot get past the installation because it errors out when it tries to install AdobeAIR. I have installed AdobeAIR to be native but because it is part of the installer it will keep erroring me.
It creates a folder and I've tried running the updater after killing the

SWAT login fails
Hi,
I'm a linux newbie so be nice.
I have recently installed a Smoothwall Express 2 firewall with fixes7, and
am trying to get a Samba server to run on this machine.
I compiled the lastest stable release of samba on this machine and it seemed
to go fine. I then compiled xinetd and configured the xinetd.conf file for
SWAT.
Using a putty SSH session I ran the the command xinetd -d to

OCFS2 1.2.9-1 RHEL5
Hi,
I still need to use 1.2.9-1 of OCFS2 as I have an older RHEL4 server that needs to share the filesystem. I noticed that there have been no updates and kernel 2.6.18-164.10.1 is out for RHEL5. Are you going to release updates or have you now finished with 1.2.9-1 for RHEL5?
Many thanks
Matt

Confidence interval on quantile regression predictions
I am using the quantreg package to build a quantile regression model and
wish to generate confidence intervals for the fitted values.
After fitting the model, I have tried running predict() and
predict.rq(), but in each case I obtain a vector of the fitted values
only.
For example:
library(quantreg)
y<-rnorm(50,10,2)
x<-seq(1,50,1)

xl support
Hi folks
The current package in unstable is able to use xl. It is still a bit
edgy but seems to work. Because the old xm with xend and xl clashs and
one should only use one, this needs some more setup to provide a proper
upgrade path.
I propose the following:
- Add a script "xen" that wraps xl and xm depending on the config for
use by all the scripts. Most parts are command line

A "Wizard" for Initial Gluster Configuration
Hi,
I'm writing a tool to simplify the initial configuration of a cluster, and it's now in a state that I find useful.
Obviously the code is on the forge and can be found at https://forge.gluster.org/gluster-deploy
If your interested in what it does, but don't have the time to look at the code I've uploaded a video to youtube

deSolve question
Dear All
wonder if you could provide some insights on the following: currently I have this code which produces the expected results:
require(deSolve)
pars <- list(k = 0.08,v=15)
intimes <- c(0,0.5,12)
input <- c(800,0,0)
forc <- approxfun(intimes, input, method="constant", rule=2)
derivs <- function(t, state, pars) {
inp <- forc(t)
dy1 <- - pars$k * state[1]
