Re: iptool (ink reset canon question)
The printer's firmware reconizes electronic signatures of cartridges, nothing you can do (short of flashing you printers bios, which will render it a door stop) is going to get that cartridge to recognize as full. Cups Ink Levels
Hey all, In this week's Open Source Highlights I read: "Check ink level: If you have an Epson, Canon, HP, or Sony printer, you can see its ink level with a simple application. Look for the "ink" package in your distribution repositories." I checked my package manager but I didn't find any "ink" package. Does such a package exist for Centos? Is so, what

forcing graphs to all black ink
Is there an easy way, for MCLUST in particular, to force its graphical output to all black and not use colors to show the clusters/groups? It shows the groups quite nicely by using triangles, crosses, etc. Unfortunately, my printer doesn't convert reds and yellows too nicely and the result is a indistinct figure on the page. (Yes, I have access to a color printer but my intended publication

how do I use only black ink?
I have an HP Photosmart C3180 All-in-one. As I haven't had any need for color lately, when I last replaced ink, I only replaced the black cartridge. It didn't work, even when printing grayscale-only images, even when telling print-set-up grayscale-only. Is there a way to tell my printer to use only the black ink cartridge. My test image is a handmade postscript file that only use setgray

recycled objects and gc problem
I''ve been digging around all morning through google trying to understand the problem of recycled objects. I''m only getting the error sometimes, so its very had to track down. I dont think I''m using any variables in my worker that come from the app so I''m not sure what is being gc''d that is causing the errors. You can see that the real work

Ok here we go... toner cartridges
According to some newsgroups and various (unconfirmed places), this guy had to pay $1000 a pop to each person he spammed back in the day. Below is his email if you want to spam him. lines() and recycled colours
Hi ?lines says For 'type = "h"', 'col' can be a vector and will be recycled as needed. Why doesn't lines() recycle colours for other types? If I type > plot(0:1,0:1,type="n") > lines(runif(11),runif(11),col=c("red","green")) > then all ten lines are red, with no warning given. Is there a reason why

Request - adding recycled "lwd" parameter to polygon
Hello dear members of R-help and R-core mailing list, I am not sure if this request is a "ticket" that should be filled somewhere outside the mailing list. If so, I apologize for not doing and would like to know where I should have filled it. And to the subject matter: I would like to use a command like this: plot(c(1,8), 1:2, type="n") polygon(1:7, c(2,1,2,NA,2,1,2),

The Recycled PIDs Fix
** Low Priority ** Hi Volker, This is regarding your fix on recycled PIDs. I am an NCP developer from Novell and we use libsmbsharemodes library from Samba for Cross Protocols Locks between NCP, Samba and others. I have few queries regarding your fix. In your fix, you have added a new field called 'unique_id' in the server_id structure and we need to pass this in our call to samba
