Why ov_open_callbacks(fd_, &vf, NULL, 0, OV_CALLBACKS_NOCLOSE) takes so long to open OGG file? The OGG file has just 210 MB. It takes a lot of time open the file. I am working on OGG audio recorder and player. Thanks in advance! With kind regards, Pavel

Hello, When I compile either oggenc or encoder_example with static libraries, they work fine, but when I try them with the dynamic libraries, I get an access violation in vorbisenc.dll with both oggenc and encoder_example. Can anyone on win32 confirm this? It's strange because vorbisfile.dll *does* work with vorbisfile_example, and the configuration for vorbisfile.dll is exactly the same

My next step will be to modify it as follows: 1) Write proper Windows pcm .wav files (with complete header). We compiled the vorbis_example from WIN32SDK with Borland 5.0 under WIN98. When running, it ends in an address violation caused by ov_open (or ov_test as well).
