On the "broken" .WAV files issue
A friend of mine recently had a problem with a "broken" .WAV file
(as you call them) because oggenc first printed out a warning and
then didn't accept the file because of a "unexpected EOF error".
Because I was interested in the issue, I decided to take a look at
the oggenc source, and in fact, it is your .WAV reader that's wrong.
More precisely: there are two version

WAV Header and Tagging
Thanks for the reply, I have just recently started looking at Ogg streaming
and wasn't sure if there was yet another playlist file for them, glad there
isn't personally! Are there any sites set up to stream Ogg?
Sorry about the confusion I was reading another thread on the discussion of
someone that was implementing an Ogg ACM. In that case a FACT chunk makes
peoples lives easier.

Complex proposal v2
All,
Here is the second revision of the proposal for a complex type in LLVM.
It clarifies a few things that came up during discussion and adds
additional operations for complex types.

Complex proposal v3 + roundtable agenda
Hi,
There’s growing interest among our users to make better use of dedicated hardware instructions for complex math and I would like to re-start the discussion on the topic. Given that this original thread was started a while ago apologies if I missed anything already discussed earlier on the list or the round-table. The original mail is quoted below.
In particular, I’m interested in the AArch64

Complex proposal v3 + roundtable agenda
Ahead of the Wednesday’s roundtable at the developers’ conference, here is version three of
the proposal for first-class complex types in LLVM. I was not able to add Krzysztof Parzyszek’s
suggestion of a “cunzip” intrinsic returning two vectors as I could not find examples of intrinsics
that return two values at the IR level. The Hexagon intrinsics declared to return two values do

SNMP issues since 5.6 upgrade
Hi there...
I scanned the archives and did some Google'ing ... can find some references
to these errors but didn't find a solution. This started when upgrading
some servers from 5.5 to 5.6 release.
It's net-snmp creating a lot of errors in the /var/log/messages suddenly. I
do believe this is only happening on 64 bit installations but not 100% sure
yet...

RFC: Complex in LLVM
Hey all,
I volunteered to put together a proposal regard complex in LLVM.
Consider the following to be a strawman meant to spark discussion. It's
based on real-world experience with complex but is not expected to cover
all use-cases.

"Infinite" wav files
Okay, before I submit my patch to make libao produce sorta-streamable wav
files, I want to know what these partial wav files do to various
players. I've posted two sample wav files on my webserver:
http://volsung.dhcp.asu.edu/~stan/infinite.wav
http://volsung.dhcp.asu.edu/~stan/zero.wav
The first uses a riff and data length of 0xFFFFFFFF (approximately
infinite) and second uses a riff and

I am attempting to get tinc running between two machines and would

mp3-wav-cd-audio "acoustically equivalent" to wav-cd-audio ?
A friend of mine made the following comment in a discussion I had with
him that on a website we adminster we should offer
a) WAV or maybe shorten files
b) Ogg as a decent reference lossy encoded version
He's been trying to convince me that we should offer MP3 (in lieu of
WAV) and possibly Ogg.
The audio files are primarily vocals

Authentication problem between RH 7.3 Samba and W98
Dear Samba gurus,
I am setting up file sharing between a new linux box running RedhHat 7.3
and a W98 PC, and almost have things running but have run into a problem
that is beyond my ability. I have W98 set up for PlainText password, and
have set up Samba to match.
Everything seems fine on the linux box. When I enter:
smbclient //irisarian/rout -U Gerry%PassWd
the connection succeds and

RE: [Asterisk-Dev] Open source time card application for Asterisk
A little bird whispers to me: Don't expect this
particular trick to be un-addressed by various
legislatures forever. That window is closing,
and the bottom of the window looks very much like
a guillotine blade - don't have your head in the
wrong place.
In any case, as has been discussed on -users
before (which is where this thread should go, and
thus where I'm relegating it)

Checking if an element is part of a vector
Hi!
I want to know if a given element <- ('c64') is part of a vector<- ('c64', 'amiga', 'atari').
Does a function exist for this which gives back a logical value?
thankx

Speex echo canceller on TI C55 DSP
The builds that I referred to in my last mail should be 11398 and 11387, not
11387 and 11343. Sorry for any confusion.
