ITheoraEncodeSettings C# interop
My apologies if this is considered somewhat off-topic but I presume that this information may be may also be of use to others using these filters. Is there someone with a better understanding of COM than I have who can tell me where I'm going wrong with the following C# interface definition? I can set and recover a quality setting using this interface but not the isUsingQualityMode flag. Not

Binaries for Visual Studio.NET?
I apologize for what's surely a common question, but the Xiph archive-searcher seems broken, and all my other searches have come up dry. Anyway, my question is: Are there any Theora binaries available for Visual Studio.NET? Alternatively, how do I build Theora using Visual Studio.NET? I tried using "\win32\theora_static.dsp", but VS.NET claimed it was corrupt and couldn't

Introducing ov_open_callbacksp and ov_clearp
Hello, I've been looking to the libvorbisfile and got into troubles when trying to use it: I need to compile it on a PalmOS and the libvorbisfile must be compiled in ARM whereas calling code is in 68K. This implies that the interface ov_open_callback is not usable because the OggVorbis_File *vf must point to something in the target architecture (ARM) whereas the caller cannot do that. As

Some oggdsf utilities and libraries now available on UNIX
Hi all, (This has been cross-posted to vorbis-dev and ogg-dev, since I thought various people on vorbis-dev may be interested in it.) I've been working with illiminable for the past few weeks to port the underlying, platform-neutral part of his DirectShow filters (oggdsf) to UNIX. While DirectShow is a Windows-specific media framework, illiminable's filters have been designed so

theora video plugin ? videolan plugin?
hi, I'm Alexander a just a question ? is there a reason why there shouldn't be a web player for theora in Mozilla FireFox ? or Internet explorer ? I'm thinking to compile videolan player with theora support only and enable the web plugin interface, it would replace the cortado player and possibly provide a better alternative to flash video plugin in linux when somebody starts a

Theora with DirectX earlier than 9
Hello, I'm trying to use Theora video codec with DirectX 8 and DiretX 7. The problem seems to be out format of Theora decoder wich is YV12 and incompatible with DirectShow Video Renderer Filter. Do you know a filter able to convert YV12 to RGB, usable in a commercial application ? May I have to make such a filter myself ? Is is said in the README file of oggdsf archive : "You need

archive of legacy oggenc/oggenc2 encoders for windows?
Hi, I was wondering if there's anywhere I could find an archive with all of the previously released ogg encoders, specifically windows binaries. I know I could rebuild every version from source, but it would be a lot easier if I could just grab the executables. Thanks. OGGDS\OggSDK missing from svn
Hello, I am trying to get hold of the sources for the ogg vorbis DirectShow filter. I have checked out trunk\oggds, but the solution refers to projects under OggSDK, viz: "OggSDK\ogg\win32\ogg_dynamic.vcproj" "OggSDK\vorbis\win32\vorbis_dynamic.vcproj" "OggSDK\vorbis\win32\vorbisenc_dynamic.vcproj" ....which do not appear to be in subversion.
