Ogg & Ogg Vorbis _unofficial_ logos page.
Hi all, I've just set up a web page with my functional, yet very ugly and _very unofficial_ set of logos for Ogg, Ogg Vorbis and family. http://www.marevalo.net/OggLogos They have been desinged with the classic CD and DVD corporate logos in mind. If someone has any problem with them or the web page please contact me. Miguel A. Arévalo marevalo@marevalo.net Miguel A. Arévalo wrote: >

[PATCH] Update the 5 year logo to 10 year logo
Already outdated, but rounded ;) I literally just opened the 5yrs logo, changed the text and then done: inkscape -z -o logo/fish-10yrs.{png,svg} cp {logo,website}/fish-10yrs.svg and then updated the rest of the files. Signed-off-by: Martin Kletzander <mkletzan@redhat.com> --- Makefile.am | 2 + logo/fish-10yrs.png | Bin 0 -> 65790 bytes logo/fish-10yrs.svg |

[fdo] where to find fdo logos?
Hi, I have been looking for the freedesktop.org logo in a good resolution or even vector based, but I was not able to find it. If someone could point me to a ps, svg or other vector based version, that would be great. I saw a vector based version of the logo on Keith's screenshots of window-level image compositing, so they must be somewhere around there. If you have the logo in a higher

new mailing list - advocacy@xiph.org
We've had a few requests for a place where advocacy efforts can be discussed. I've created a new mailing list, advocacy@xiph.org. This is going to be a place where we: - discuss adoption strategies - coordinate vendor support requests - help coordinate promotion activity I encourage everyone who is interested in promoting, advocating and evangelizing Vorbis, Icecast and other Xiph.org

Re: [advocacy] current tshirt/slogan submissions
Two notes on my T-shirt design... Had I known there was an official logo/font for the Ogg Vorbis and Xiph I would have used it. Sorry if this causes any problems. :o) #ifdef Stand_on_SoapBox As for the phenomenon vs. standard I think I may want to explain. It seems that whenever the media reports on Ogg (or ANY open source project for that matter) they often use the word phenomenon to

advocacy and added options to ogg123
Hey all. Two topics: First, I teach Computer Science at the high school level at a largish school near Austin, Texas. For the past several years there's been a "jukebox" in my room where students could vote for albums to hear during programming lab time, and random tracks off the winning albums play over the speakers in the classroom. Re: win.metafiles in linux and R
I posted a similar query some months ago. Some people answered stating that win.metafiles were not available for R in linux. However, I was suggested to use the package RSvgDevice, which allows transforming any graphic device into Scalable Vector Graphics format, this file can then be opened with sodipodi, and really impresive stuff can be achieved. I also noticed that OpenOffice for linux has an
