Recently I setup samba 2.23 on a Red Hat 7.3 machine to be the Primary Domain controller, my win2k machine logs in just fine with username and password I setup sees the shares it should, however the problem I have is if I try to copy something to one of the shares it copies hte file 3 times, one is the origianl one is blank, one is coded and is the same file. Is it possible to define file rights, such that - The file is owned by root, with full privleges on the Linux server. The file is shared by a group "users". The shared file should be available for read and write access. That part's easy - but now.... Deny delete, overwrite, or rename access to this file. Is this possible? -- Daniel

Hi, I have just installed asterisk under Fedora5, the program runs fine except the color is not correct, it's very dark, difficult to see. And if I select a part that part's color will be fine at least clear for read purpose. All I can do now is disabling color by changing the TERM environment variable to another value.
