libogg, libogg2, Tremor compatability
Hi, I've started working on libogg2 support in liboggz and Tremor support in libfishsound. I'm running into some problems with namespace clashes. Specifically, each of libogg, libogg2 and libvorbisidec (Tremor) define conflicting ogg_* symbols and declare incompatible ogg_* types in their headers. While I understand that a dedicated Ogg Vorbis decoder would only need to use one of these

Tremor + upstream Ogg library
Hi vorbis experts! I'd like ot write application under Symbian that use theora as video codec & tremor as an audio one. I played at first with libogg & theora on PC, then successfully ported them both. Next I decided to port Tremor but I found that it use its own files from Ogg library. The API is almost identical, so I tried to bind the Tremor with upstream Ogg library (it actually

Experimental Bitrate peeler
Hi All, As specified in earlier email we have released the trial version of the ogg vorbis decoder. Along with the decoder we have released an experimental version of the bitrate peeler that we have used to test the decoder for bitrate peeled inputs. We have made the executable of the bitrate peeler available from our website downloads section. www.vinjey.com/ogg_downloads.html

mpg123 with ogg decoder...
I'm building a car audio player based on Cajun projekt ( http://cajun.sourceforge.net ). It uses remote control interface of mpg123 for control play.. I'd prefer to use vorbis format for ripping my CD's but, I still have some music in mp3 format only.. Did anybody consider to put vorbis decoder in mpg123, so it can play al this 4 formats. Or it's better to switch to freeamp ?

Tremor maintenance
hi, could someone please apply these to Tremor svn? 0001-update_symbols.patch there are 3 public symbols in the headers, which are missing in the linker script and thus marked as private again. This causes issues for e.g. gstreamer (https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=616194). 0002-pkgconfig.patch this adds a pkg config file You probably also want to do something like Index:

Rhubarber (advanced peeler)
Hi all, [For the uninitiated: a "peeler" is a program that transforms a Vorbis stream into a smaller, (somewhat) lower quality Vorbis stream, and does so quickly, by just throwing out some data.] After having prototyped several peelers that aim to peel to a certain filesize, or to a certain quality, with mixed success, I've now taken a different route: a peeler that aims for the

nxMyFLA.dll interacts badly with Nero
Hello, my name is Torsten Koffler, a Senior Software Engineer at Nero AG (Germany). I am the manager for Windows Quality Online Services (Winqual) issues in our company. We have run into some issues where it appears that a piece of Nero software (Nero.exe 8.2.8.0) is interacting badly with a piece of nxMyFLA.dll software (nxMyFLA.dll 1.0.0.33) and causing crash reports (Average Hits per day 15,

libogg2 branch->trunk (deadline: 5/30)
Ok guys and gals Monty assigned me as libogg2 maintainer a few weeks ago, with the provision that I get consensus on API changes from everyone. In order to facilitate discussion, and to "move on" vs letting this stalemate hold development at a stand still, I'm setting an initial deadline of this comming Monday, May 30th. If nobody has a strong objection why these API changes

LPRng question
<It seems that the print command is trying to find the printer at location 'localhost'. Since this is a network printer it is not at localhost is it?> Yeah, the error messages made no sense to me either! Well, like I said earlier: < The IP address of this printer is 10.1.1.192. I call this printer nero, and have it listed in my /etc/hosts file> Here is a copy of part of my
