Libvorbis documentation.
Greetings,
On the official documentation page,
http://www.xiph.org/ogg/vorbis/docs.html, there are links to the
documents describing the released libraries, ie. libvorbis, vorbisfile
and vorbisenc. However, the first one is not a link at all, although I
seem to remember that it was so earlier.
I also downloaded the SDK for Mac OSX, which sorta contains a
documentation for libvorbis, but

Finding length (time) of encoded birstream
I'm adding some final features to my CD Ripper and Encoder before the full,
version 1 release. As part of that release, the program will offer the
ability to play (for review purposes) both WAV and OGG files. I have both
the decoder and playback code working but I have one final issue to resolve:
finding the play time for the Vorbis bitstream that is being played back. I

Greetings,
I thought this was supposed to be a list for educated people to discuss
serious development of the ogg vorbis project. In light of that, it is
amazing to see the level Mr. Segher Boessenkool drops down to in the
last posts. More or less calling people insane and accusing them of
being on crack and what not. I didn't want to post this on the list,
for there is no reason to

Fwd: [bisected] nouveau failure with 3.9-rc1 and ongoing
Hiya,
I sent the enclosed email to linux-kernel before realizing that it
would, perhaps, be more proper to send it here, which I hereby do.
I shall be happy to try out any and all patches.
Best regards,

Is there any change for Quadro K620M support at some point in time, and
what can I do to help, apart from the info below?

Average of results coming from B=100 repetitions (looping)
Dear R-experts,
Here below the reproducible example. I am trying to get the average of the 100 results coming from the "lst" function. I have tried lst$mean and mean(lst). It does not work.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

GM108GLM?
Actually GM108 is not one of the recognized chips. Someone needs to go
through and check that its goldens didn't change. Nobody's done that.

Just wondering... Would it be possible for the list software to set the

[PATCH] Integrating applications into Mini-OS
I sent this patch directly to Gregor, and neglected to CC this list.
Sorry about that.
I''d like to make it so that there is no need to modify any Mini-OS
source files when extending it with an application. All that is
required is a change to Makefile, and a small change to kernel.c,
printf.c, and string.c. I have enclosed the patch.
With this patch, one could write an application in a

Version: 1.4

Submission from: (NULL) (192.5.35.38)
It seems to me that pexp can be improved in the lower_tail=TRUE and log_p=FALSE
case by using expm1. Something like
-expm1 (-x / scale);
I think.

Wanted Good Documentation on HFSC
Hello All,
I am trying to prioratize VOIP traffic from data.
The follwing link says that HFSC is better than HTB for shaping VOIP traffic.
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-QoS+Linux+with+HFSC
I am in search of good documentation to start with HFSC,
I am unable to understand the parameters used.
I "googled" a lot to find on how to use HFSC, but no luck.

qbeta function (FYI, compiler bug)
Hi there,
this is just to let you know that the qbeta function, which was
copied from R into Gnumeric, has been confirmed to be miscompiled
by gcc 2.96 on Linux. (That's Red Hat's compiler.)
This shows by qbeta(0.025,4,0.5) ending up taking the wrong
branch of "if (alpha <= 0.5)".
We compile things in a different context, so this may or may not
affect you. The qbeta

Re: libvorbis 1.1.0 release
Everyone,
I'm pleased to announce the release of libvorbis version 1.1.0. This
is the first major release since 1.0 and offers new encoder tunings
for additional compression efficiency as well as a number of bugs fixes.
Developers will be interested in the new 'CBR' mode support and
encoder_ctl() interface.
