Hi everyone. I'm fairly new to the world of Vorbis, but after hearing the sound comparisons I was sold. I've recently begun a massive undertaking of ripping all my CD's to hard disk in preparation for the home theater PC that I'm in the process of building. I can use cdrecord / burncd to make data cd's and backups and the like, but a disk-at-once program is best (IMO) for copying audio cd's. Hello all I've got a Matshita dvd-ram uj-830sx that is performing very bad on my freshly installed CentOS 5. I'm using k3b and get a steady 1.2x which is way too slow.
