OGG->CDA programs ?????
Anyone have a status update on when Sonic Foundry plans on supporting RC2 ogg files? A while back on this list someone said they had a good contact at SF and was supposed to chekc up on it. I have contacted Ahead Software about including Vorbis support with Nero and they asked that a developer contact them about including it. Any chance a developer can contact them about support for Vorbis

Illiminable DS filters for FLAC don't work
At my company we have a bunch of music in FLAC format. We want to play it using the Windows Media Player, but none of us can get the illiminable DS filters to work. Here are some details. Illiminable DS filters http://www.wmplugins.com/ItemDetail.aspx?ItemID=681 http://www.illiminable.com/ogg/ We are using the latest build available on this website, and I have read all the known issues. Re: FLAC format
Hi, >That's what I wanted to say a month ago. Mr. Blum, I'm really sorry for misunderstanding you. My mistake. I choose an ACM codec because it's the only option that works on every Windows Platform, and since the DirectShow has a generic wrapper that allows it to use ACM codecs, it appeared a good idea. I didn't note that the file format was going to be a problem. But I think

Vorbis ACM
Does anyone have a status update for this project? The sourceforge page doesn't offer much info: http://sourceforge.net/projects/vorbisacm I'd love to be able to use Vorbis to encode audio from within Virtualdub, etc, etc, not to mention the ability o play Vorbis files in Windows Media Player. Too bad I don't have the skills to write it myself. Thanks, --Wilson. --- >8 ---- List

VirtualDub and enconding with DivX, XviD
Hello, I am trying to get the latest wine (Wine 20030219, fake windows) working with the GordianKnot (0.27). Unfortunately, Virtual Dub is not be able to compress a avs-file with the DivX-codec. It crashes if trying to. Also, it would be nice to compress an mpeg-source with Xvid but also it crashes. BTW, VirtualDub does not list it in its codecs window ?f "msvfw32" is set to

Since this is a network printer it is not at localhost is it?> Yeah, the error messages made no sense to me either! Well, like I said earlier: < The IP address of this printer is 10.1.1.192. I call this printer nero, and have it listed in my /etc/hosts file> Here is a copy of part of my

Re: Illiminable DS filters for FLAC don't work
Thanks Christian. Now I can play my FLAC files with WiMP. I uninstalled the illuminable package and then installed the Matroska. The result was the opposite that I got for the illuminable: the illuminable package registered the types but WiMP couldn't find the codecs, the Matroska didn't register the types but it did make the codecs available. This is much preferable of course

Anybody running VirtualDub ?
Hi! I just tried to run VirtualDub 1.5.10 with current wine from CVS. The program runs, but when the video playback is started (or even the video file is just loaded), all the screen except the window with the first video frame goes black. The video is played properly. All is alive and well, underlying windows/icons are there and they react on the mouse, windows can be moved (if You find their
