Hello all Could you please tell me if and how Vorbis is used for the audio in DivX? Is it still encapsulated within ogg container format in DivX or does DivX contain raw Vorbis encoded packets? Any clues or pointers would be helpful. Thanks & regards ~previr

Hi all, Have trouble encoding / playing back OGG using WinAmp + plugin. I encoded the files from .WAV with Ogg drop RC2. Seems to be ok. When I try and play them back though I get very very weird sound effects (some kind of "wobbling", some bass frequencies that are usually in the background seem to get more emphasised and they seem to have some kind of strange echo / reverb to it

I quite often find myself making documents that pull together other fragmentary documents. Does anyone have suggestions for an include or embed syntax? I.e. a way of saying "pull in the contents of document X here". Has this been implemented before? Such a syntax might be: (embed: snippet.txt) or [include](snippet.txt) Your thoughts? How good is the video compression in vp3.2? For example, how does it compare (bit rate & quality) to mpeg1, mpeg2, Divx, real Video 8+, Windows Media, etc. etc. It being open source is nice and all, but if it can't be reasonably competitive then there isn't much point to it.
