Hi, the attached patch (against current SVN) adds three new options to ffmpeg2theora: --keyint (set keyframe interval) --smoothness (set the theora_info::sharpness encoding parameter) and --noautosync (disable the new frame dropping/duplicating code). It also fixes a bug with the processing of --cropright that sometimes segfaulted. The sync adjustment code is now tuned to be more reliable. BTW

Hello! I'm trying to use ffmpeg2theora to encode raw (.yuv) files in I420 format (just frames, no headers at all), but failed to find corresponding input format. Is there any documentation of supported formats for ffmpeg2theora? Or maybe there is another command-line tool for Windows to encode raw video using Theora algorithm? Thank you for help! Alexander.

For last few days I was trying to learn ffmpeg and libtheora API. In the process, I have modified ffmpeg2theora code to include support for start time and end time. ffmpeg2theora -s 60 -e 130 file.avi will produce file.ogg which will be from 60th to 130th second of input file (something like -ss and -endpos in mencoder). hi yorn and all, thank you oggvideo tools for windows. it is great... i can live with the command line for now myself but i will need to make some art students work with oggvideotools and they may not be happy with that:D anyway your video tutorial is also good (but it also crashed my firefox 3.5 beta 4 for two times on windows and i have reported that to mozilla), i would love to help for that
