archive of legacy oggenc/oggenc2 encoders for windows?
Thanks for all the info - I was able to find exactly what I was looking for here: http://codecs.ex-sounds.net/ogg/vorbis/oggenc/ As for what I'm up to, I have a memory-limited port of the Tremor Vorbis decoder that I want to test on some older vorbis encoders for backwards compatibility purposes. Nothing too nefarious. ;) On Thu, Aug 6, 2009 at 8:59 PM, Silvia Pfeiffer <silvia at

oggcodecs 0.72.1838
Hi, oggcodecs are a set of directshow filters for encoding and decoding Ogg vorbis, speex, theora and flac. Which basically means, you can play .ogg files in Windows Media Player. I have decided to finally get around to splitting the releases to stable and unstable. 0.72.1838 is the first unstable release. Hopefully this will let me have more frequent releases, without having to worry about

Oggcodecs 0.70.0827 released!
Finally, after a year without a release, here is V0.70 http://www.illiminable.com/ogg/ If you don't know. Oggcodecs is a set of directshow filters to allow the playback of all the xiph codecs (vorbis, theora, speex and flac) in directshow, ie Windows Media Player and several other windows players. Hopefully, now I can get back to a shorter release cycle through 0.7x New stuff and stuff I

archive of legacy oggenc/oggenc2 encoders for windows?
Interesting - is there any easy way to tie each of these builds to a windows application? I'm really not so familiar with how to do those types of things - didn't even know what DSF was until a few minutes ago!
