Planned xiph.org DNS outage
We're in the process of moving some xiph.org machines around, and for
that reason there will be a brief actual outage of Mail, WWW and CVS
today. However, the main DNS is also moving to a new IP address, and
that will take some time to propogate (the TTL is cranked way down, so
the limiting factor is probably the next Internic a.root update).
For that reason, xiph.org will not resolve from

The Postfix mail server on motherfish.xiph.org server got itself 'into
a state' last night and stopped delivering mail for several hours this
morning. The exact cause isn't known at the moment, but since the
mail sandbox had grown somewhat out of sync with the rest of the
