Asterisk in the third world - Astricon 2010 keynote follow-up
Friends,
After listening to Mark Summer's keynote at Astricon (hopefully soon on the Astricon web site) I think we should come back to the discussion he started. Mark talked about using Open Source in general and Asterisk in particular in third world projects as well as in emergencies in other countries. He and Inveneo help groups of people to get a better understanding of how to build

unable to create channel of type 'SIP'
I'm trying to use OpenBTS with Asterisk.
I have two phones that are connecting to OpenBTS correctly, but on the
Asterisk side the phones can't call each other.
I followed this guide:
http://gnuradio.org/redmine/projects/gnuradio/wiki/OpenBTSSettingUpAsterisk
I set up two phones in sip.conf and extensions.conf.
In my SIP output I see this:

Any pointer or info will be greatly appreciated.
Best Regards,
Mark

domain users in local groups with Winbind/Samba/Redhat
Hi,
I am running a Samba 2.2.7a on Redhat 7.3 in a NT domain. For authentication
I am using the domainusers.This is done by Winbind 2.2.7a which verifies the
existens of the users on the PDC. So I dont't have to create local users
(/etc/passwd) for users who want to connect to the shares in the smb.conf.
I authorise them by adding valid users = domain+domainuser to the smb.conf.
This works

[LLVMdev] assert in InnerLoopVectorizer::createEmptyLoop
I am seeing an assert when I compile the attached program with clang:
$ clang -fno-strict-aliasing -target mips64el-unknown-linux -O3
-fomit-frame-pointer -S test1.c -o test1.ll -emit-llvm
It asserts when LoopVectorize.cpp:506 is executed. It looks like it is
complaining because it is trying to zero-extend an i64 (type
Count->getType() returns i64) to an i32 (IdxTy).

error message from predict.coxph
In one particular situation predict.coxph gives an error message. Namely: stratified data, predict='expected', new data, se=TRUE. I think I found the error but I'll leave that to you to decide.
Thanks,
Chris
