fitting in logistic model
I would like to know how R computes the probability of an event in a logistic model (P(y=1)) from the score s, linear combination of x and beta. I noticed that there are differences (small, less than e-16) between the fitting values automatically computed in the glm procedure by R, and the values "manually" computed by me applying the reverse formula p=e^s/(1+e^s); moreover I noticed

Libvirt save problem
Hi list, i use a centos 7 as virtual host with two guests with windows 2012 standard ( as storage i use RAW files). My problem is that sometime during the bakup my server reboot without leaving information in the log files ( /var/log/messages ). The backup does this steps: 1) Save the state of the virtual guest ( with the command "virsh save " ) 2) Make a snapshot of the filesystem (

ChannelStateDesc: Ring ?
Hello. I've experience a rather surprising behaviour of the AMI 1.1 > Event: Newstate^M > Privilege: call,all^M > Channel: SIP/XXXXXX-089c63b8^M > ChannelState: 4^M > ChannelStateDesc: Ring^M > CallerIDNum: XXXXXXXX^M > CallerIDName: YYYYYYYYY^M > Uniqueid: 1256089773.59^M Usually ChannelStateDesc gives me 'Ringing' but sometimes it only gives me

Defunct / zombie AGI after some execution time
Hello, We are running Asterisk-1.0.12 in a CentOS 4-4.2 system, kernel 2.6.9-42.0.3.ELsmp. We have some custom AGI, and when we launch Asterisk the system works fine. But **after some time**, each AGI execution generates a zombie <defunct> process. We believe that it's not a problem in the AGI code, because Asterisk+AGI is working fine in the first "n" minutes/hours. This

Performance issue
Hi, Since few days I noticed very high load on my mailserver (Centos 6.6 64bit, 8 GB RAM, 2 x CPU 3.00GHz I am using Dovecot + Postfix + Roundcube + Nginx. I have about 10000 users. Spool is on network attached storage (Coraid). File system is ext4 (mounted with noatime). Problem appears almost every morning (while load is normal during afternoon). I suspect that this can be related to some

Office documents saved in read-only mode in samba 2.2.7a
I have recently upgraded from samba 2.2.6 to 2.2.7a on a Linux RedHat 8.0 server. Now I have got a problem with Win2K/XP clients. When a client saves an excel or word document on a Samba share, it is automaticaly saved in read only mode(444), and the owner becomes "root" Notes: This doesn't happen if I use the notepad. The /tmp share works. Files are not saved in read only mode.

A matter of context
All: I've starting building an asterisk system for our company, which has about 60 users. I am new to asterisk, so thank you for your patience. I've stripped the sip.conf and the extensions.conf down to the bare minimum: Here is my extensions.conf file [globals] [general] autofallthrough=no [default] [fromprovider] exten => YYYYYYYYYY,1,Dial(SIP/151,20) [phones] exten =>

problem with callerid ( SetCIDName )
I don't succed in getting callerId on incoming calls on a zap trunk. I am using a zaphfc card When a call is received, one line in asterisk pbx says -- Executing SetCIDName("Zap/32-1", "") in new stack second parameters should be the caller ID, but it is not set The callerid is not hidden at source, so I think that is some kind of setting in zapata.conf I am using

Samba Upgrade to 3.0.21a
I have just upgrade Samba from version 2.2.8a to 3.0.21a and everything is working fine except for one user. Samba is running on HPUX version 11.11 and we have XP workstation attaching to the shares. One user is running XP but his workstation is running 64bit while all the others that work are 32bit OS. I've looked through all the readme's and install docs I can find and can't
