Question about filtering
Hi,
We are having some performances problems with users that have folders
shared over their internal networks.
We were wondering, when the user list files using dir *.dat or calls
/FirstNextFile , is the filtering done on the local or on the remote
one?
Thanks in advance!

puzzling Date math result
Hi,
I cannot make a reproducible example easily for my problem, so I'll
describe it as best as I can.
I merged 2 dataframes but was surprised when one line on the x
dataframe did not get a match in the y dataframe, because I knew such
a match existed. There was only one "by" variable in the merge, in
Date format:
in x:
$ p?riode : Date, format: "2009-06-09"

LDA Command time limit exceeded
I have many errors of this type in my logs:
2 * postfix/pipe[21511]: BC8DD3356A: to=<*****@******>, relay=dovecot,
delay=1001, status=bounced (Command time limit exceeded:
"/usr/local/dovecot-1.0-rc2/libexec/dovecot/deliver")
My command time limit is 1000s in postfix (more than 15 minutes)
After many check, I found that a lots of this error is not really an
error.

[Bug 119] Occassionally, SSH failed to connect and timeout after 2 hrs!
http://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119
------- Additional Comments From stevesk at pobox.com 2002-03-31 05:22 -------
what is the timeout issue? timeouts can be caused by filters
that maintain connection state and have timeouts; or TCP keepalives
or ???
this should probably be "invalid"

[PATCH AUTOSEL 5.2 119/249] vhost_net: disable zerocopy by default
From: Jason Wang <jasowang at redhat.com>
[ Upstream commit 098eadce3c622c07b328d0a43dda379b38cf7c5e ]
Vhost_net was known to suffer from HOL[1] issues which is not easy to
fix. Several downstream disable the feature by default. What's more,
the datapath was split and datacopy path got the support of batching
and XDP support recently which makes it faster than zerocopy part for

[PATCH 4.19 119/205] x86/hyper-v: Enable PIT shutdown quirk
4.19-stable review patch. If anyone has any objections, please let me know.

From: Michael Kelley <mikelley at microsoft.com>
commit 1de72c706488b7be664a601cf3843bd01e327e58 upstream.
Hyper-V emulation of the PIT has a quirk such that the normal PIT shutdown
path doesn't work, because clearing the counter register restarts the
timer.

Problems with warnings from loess under Windows, at least (PR#119)
There are two separate problems with loess under Guido's rw0632 on
Windows, neither of which appear unless you try to do something that it is
trying to tell you is inadvisable. It bombs trying to tell you. I have
put up a replacement modreg.zip in the CRAN contrib collection that will
be mirrored tonight.
Both of these could potentially affect other platforms.
