R license: GPL v2 or v3?
For a project I am porting some of R's source code, and I want to
get the license for my project correct, but the top level COPYING file
for R's source states GPL v2, but when using:
> license()
(which also states GPL version 2) points me towards:
> RShowDoc('COPYING')
which states GPL v3. Which is correct?

R 2.13.1 is released
I've rolled up R-2.13.1.tar.gz a short while ago. This is a maintenance release to consolidate various minor fixes to 2.13.0.
The Licencing change to GPL-2 | GPL-3 may be of interest to some.
You can get it from
http://cran.r-project.org/src/base/R-2/R-2.13.1.tar.gz
or wait for it to be mirrored at a CRAN site nearer to you.
Binaries for various platforms will appear in due course.

Mixed Conditional Logit with nested data

iLBC re-licence
Does anybody know if the updated licence on iLBC makes it safe to
include in Asterisk when used in a commercial environment again?

Building RPM, Unknown tag Licence & Copyright
Hi all,
When trying to rpmbuild
http://robert.cheramy.net/ipfm/browser/trunk/redhat/ipfm.spec, I do this:
[mihamina at centos6-01 redhat]$ rpmbuild -ba ipfm.spec
error: line 5: Unknown tag: Licence: GPL
And I get the error above.

SAMBA and Windows 2008 TSE licence Server
Hi all!
I can't use the TSE licence server in Windows 2008 server. This Server
is member of my Samba Domain. My TSE licence server is actived and my
licences added, but when i want configure the TSE service and launch the
Licence diagnostic the diagnostic failed.
I think my problem is due to my Windows Server is not an Active
Directory controller.

Pb licence WINE
Hello !
I made a program under windows, using a dll which allows to send and
receive mails. I used a DLL called easy mail advanced API (QuikSoft).
Under Windows, my program works. Under wine, an error occurs : the
licence for using the dll is not valid !
I don't understand why the licence doesn' work under WINE ! I have
contact the editor of the DLL, but they can't test WINE...

Licence for datasets in a R-package

729 licence on scsi
I Purchased 4 licences for my SCSI only machine. I do have a CDROM -
with a mounted CD. The Registration binary gives me a 'Segmentation
Fault'. Is this like telling me I can't register the licence?

The setup would be:

Digium G729 licence unattended install

One of the key features of Asterisk is that we can install it on many
hardware platforms.
We've done our best to script this installation process, so that, in case of
hardware failure, we can re-install Asterisk on another platform.
