[LLVMdev] C++ Interpreter
Hi,
we want to implement a C++ interpreter using LLVM and clang, to replace
our existing one <http://root.cern.ch/drupal/content/cint> that is used
as part of a data handling and analysis environment
<http://root.cern.ch>. We plan to keep the set of features that our
current interpreter offers, e.g. calls into and out of libraries,
dynamic scoping, unloading of code, and a prompt. I

[LLVMdev] MCJIT handling of linkonce_odr
Hi Keno,
The part that scares me a bit is

I would very much appreciate if you could implement this; I don't have
enough knowledge of the MCJIT nor llvm CodeGen internals... I will
happily try it out and provide you with feedback, though! :-)
Thank you *so* much for your fast reaction!

Isn't clang going on that direction anyway?

Pathetic Upgrade Question: 2.0.9 to 2.3.0
My version output is below, under the heading "My actual question".
Background to my woes:
===================
I installed a new virtual machine with CentOS 6.9 (I'll refer to it as xxserverxx) and included the postfix server. I configured a virtual network, did a decent job of hardening firewalls for both physical host and virtual guests. I was able to get mail / mailx to send

send existing root email to another user
Hi all,
I'm running Centos 5.4
I have a pile of emails in my root users /var/spool/mail/root file
I need to send this all to another address (preferrably external but
local would possibly do)
I have searched a lot but can't find any way to do this. I have set it
so future emails get forwarded to my external address but I also need to
shift the existing emails.
Thanks
Kate

Aborting an ssh connection on sshrc execution failure
Hi!
It feels like there is an obvious answer to this that I'm not seeing,
but I've been testing, reading manuals and googling for a while now and
can't seem to get it to work.
I have an SSH server that mounts a windows share on login, to act as a
SFTP proxy for windows home directories. The mounting of the users'
homedirs is done via a call from /etc/ssh/sshrc. This mount

[LLVMdev] LLVM as shared libraries
Hi,
is there an option to build LLVM's libs (and maybe clangs, but that's
for later :-) as shared libraries? It's not --enable-shared :-) If it
doesn't exist: is there any interest to have it? It would reduce my
build time considerably...
Cheers, Axel.

ocfs2 ACL support
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA256
It looks like ACL support has been written for ocfs2:
http://lkml.org/lkml/2009/1/5/297, and possibly merged upstream.
However, I'm stuck on RHEL5 (and the RHEL-provided kernel). Has this
been backported? If so, where could I find it? If not, does anyone have
a guess as to how difficult it would be?
Thanks in advance.

defines in Rmath.h and R_NO_REMAP
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA512
Hi,
I'm programming with R 2.7.2 and had some trouble including
Rmath.h for its random variates generation routines: Although
I define R_NO_REMAP (which works fine for Rinternals.h stuff),
Rmath.h defines "beta" as "Rf_beta" etc., so that my "beta" strings
get redefined as well! Is this a feature?
I found an old

Lotus Notes 6.5.1 (or 7.0.1) and Office connection via DDE
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

I use ubuntu 8.04 with wine 1.1.9.
I would like to get Office (2000 or 2003) and Lotus Notes (6.5.1 or
7.0.1) working together because of a Notes application with requires
Word acting as DDE server in order to generate documents.
After several tentatives with community packages I cannot get a working
Wine configuration. So I tried Bordeaux 1.4 that

[LLVMdev] MCJIT handling of linkonce_odr
Hi,
I'm finally moving cling to MCJIT - and MCJIT is wonderful! So far I
only ran into this issue:
$ cat linkonceodr.cxx
extern "C" int printf(const char*,...);
template <class T> struct StaticStuff {
static T s_data;
};
template <class T> T StaticStuff<T>::s_data = 42;

Freedomaudio player
Hi folks
Got Icecast2 running on Redhat8 with IceS2 as a source, streaming some OGG
files. All works nicely (not _especially_ reliable :) but it seems to lock
up the Freedomaudio java player between tracks.
Everytime a new file begins, the player stops and says 'Loading'.
I'm wondering if it's somehthing to do with metadata -
is there a way of disabling metadata from IceS2? (i.e.
