[PATCH] [SHELL] Fix klibc DEBUG compilation v2
dash didn't compile in DEBUG mode against klibc for all long time.
Now it only fails at link stage for not having setlinebuf(3) and
freopen(3).
Fixes:
usr/dash/show.o: In function `opentrace':
show.c:(.text+0x36): undefined reference to `freopen'
show.c:(.text+0x86): undefined reference to `setlinebuf'
Skip setlinebuf and use fclose/fopen inside SMALL.

Script AGI on C
Hi Folks:
I used that one example for AGI script on C web, only to fill the working with the Asterisk. I compiled and it worked great. I executed accidentally the ls -l command in directory where was the source and executable, I noted and was surprised that because the executable size was to further 20 times more than source.
I executed the gcc -Os source.c -o executable.agi command several

Discussing `dash' in klibc mailing list
Peter, i ask you to permit discussion of `dash' in the klibc list.
Pulled reasons are, that bugs and followups are distributed in bug
tracking systems with arbitrary decisions. In the klibc there are also
changes, that can be discussed widely, and opinions with possible
solutions published.
So far i have two problems.
First is proposed change for test(1):

RFC: [0/2] Remove netloop by lazy copying in netback
Hi Keir:
These two patches remove the need for netloop by performing the
copying in netback and only if it is necessary. The rationale
is that most packets will be processed without delay allowing
them to be freed without copying at all. So instead of copying
every packet destined to dom0 we''ll only copy those that linger
longer than a specified amount of time (currently 0.5s).
As it

Size and performance efficient rewriting of the `dash.test` built-in
== Proposition A. Do not implement `-a' and `-o'. ==
Why.
1. Most of the `test` usage is 2 or 3 arg. ops.
2. Issues (and possible `||', `&&' substitutions), described in [0]
[0] http://www.opengroup.org/onlinepubs/000095399/utilities/test.html
3. In case of usage of it, `exec /usr/bin/test $args` can be
implemented. Thus, smart users of `-a' and `-o' will

qemu/rtl8139: Max transmit frame size
Hi:
I noticed a bug in the realloc error checking code in the QEMU backend
for RealTek8139. However, what''s worse is that there is no cap on the
total size of the transmit buffer at all. So a guest can keep extending
it until memory runs out.
CP_TX_BUFFER_SIZE is already 64K. So it seems to me that we don''t need
the while loop to extend the buffer at all since no transmitted

[NET] front: Fix features on resume when csum is off
Hi Keir:
[NET] front: Fix features on resume when csum is off
When the netfront driver is resumed the features are renegotiated with
the backend. However, I forgot take into account the status of the TX
checksum setting. When TX checksum is disabled by the user, we cannot
enable SG or TSO since both require checksum offload. This patch makes
xennet check the checksum setting before

Xen netfront fixes for changed skbuff in net-2.6.22.git
Hi Herbert,
I wonder if you''ve got a chance to look at netfront in light of the new
stuff in davem''s network tree (the stuff that''s in
http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/davem/net-2.6.22.git).
In particular, struct sk_buff has been changed so that "nh" has gone,
and the replacement can be just an offset rather than a full pointer.
This breaks the

[Bridge] [Patch net] bridge: do not expire mdb entry when bridge still uses it

This is a long-standing bug and reported several times:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=880035

This bug can be observed in virt environment, when a KVM guest
communicates with the host via multicast. After some time (should
be 260 sec, I didn't measure), the multicast
