klibc-1.5.17 released
Hey, I am currently using some IBM 3850 M2 servers that we have booting from PXE to do NFS root stuff like updating firmware etc prior to getting the system installed with an operating system. Some of these servers install fine and other servers with identical configurations fail to install. In each case when it fails to start it gets to the following point [ 274.004114] NET: Registered

[git patches] Ocfs2 and Configfs updates for 2.6.27
I'm running a bit late with the e-mail this time around, but I think that's ok since there really isn't any major new features here - the bulk of the Ocfs2 update is bug fixes, or cleanups. The same goes for configfs. The only two things that could be described as features would be: - Sunil has updated Ocfs2 to provide even more live cluster locking information via debugfs. - Joel

Bug#511959: klibc-utils: ipconfig times out when several machines boot at the very same time
Package: klibc-utils Version: 1.5.12-2 Severity: important Tags: patch (I'm using X-Debbugs-Cc so that the klibc list receives a copy directly. I'd be glad to be kept in Cc since I don't follow that list, thanks already.) Hi maks, hpa, Louis, and others, I've been experiencing for a while timeouts at DHCP-time in ipconfig when starting up several machines (say: 2 out of 4

acts_as_taggable and auto_complete
I''m using the acts_as_taggable gem (who''s site has gone AWOL apparently) and I''m wanting to make it autocomplete. I, however, am the absolute worst JavaScript person ever, so is there anyone out there that can point me to a tutorial or give some good starting points? Thanks! Any more details on Lance? (just curious; no pressure)
A friend of mine sent me this link: http://linux.slashdot.org/story/09/07/30/130249/CentOS-Project-Administrator-Goes-AWOL I went to the main page and read the letter and the "Facts." Are there any more details, mainly along the lines of CentOS sticking around - I know you folks all work really hard on this, and you know better than me how many others depend on you - but - there's

Ices 0.x really needs a release
Hi, I've had to dust off Ices 0.x to provide some simple automation for a project I'm involved with and I ran into several bugs in 0.4 which have been fixed in SVN. I was shocked to see that 0.4 was released on 2004-08-28. Surely it's time to role out those bug-fixes? I have noticed one bug though, but I've not tested it thoroughly. It seems that if you have it set to be

Whoah! My E400P system went AWOL
Hi, I came back from a quiet weekend today and found my E400P box to have gone astray. Asterisk is loaded from inittab, and started crashing and reloading a couple of thousands of times, each time notifying my monitoring service :-P I remember there would be issues on old cvs stuff since the crash at digium so I made a clean checkout just now. Here is what happens when I load manually:

SuSe does not like more.
In R "help(package=pkg)" or "library(help=pkg)" seems to behave like 'more' or 'less' or something that looks like one of these. Under RedHat this behaves normally: at the end of help it reverts automatically to the R prompt '>'. In SuSe it doesn't jump back to the prompt automatically: I see something like "line 1/28 (end)" and then I

I just got an email from SIPphone advising that there have been problems with the above firmware and advising to reload from their server. This does in fact reload 1.0.4.35 into the phone. And now voicemail has gone AWOL again. -- Dave Cotton <dcotton@linuxautrement.com>

vignette index going AWOL
I?m preparing a package (fastR) for submission to CRAN, but the vignette index keeps going AWOL, or at least R CMD check ?as-cran thinks so. I?ve tried several things and gave myself the weekend to think of other things, but I can?t figure it out. Perhaps someone on the list can lend a hand. Here?s one example situation, where I build the index.html file myself and put it in inst/doc/index.html

serious problem with torque
Hi, folks, The other admin updated torque without testing it on one machine, and we had Issues. The first I knew was when a user reported qstat returning socket_connect_unix failed: 15137 socket_connect_unix failed: 15137 socket_connect_unix failed: 15137 qstat: cannot connect to server (null) (errno=15137) could not connect to trqauthd Attempting to restart the pbs_server did the same.
