[PATCH] resume: Use the kernel API from 4.17 for setting resume offset
The previous API for setting resume offset didn't actually work
in the kernel. It silently ignored this part of the string.
A new API was introduced under /sys/power/resume_offset specifically
for setting this value.

[PATCH] pull faccessat() system call
3-arg faccessat is unfortunately an incomplete implementation.
It does not match user-space needs, for example due to wrong answer
when egid != gid.
dash started to detect klibc faccessat() syscall wrapper.

hello hpa!
added on top of queue ext4 fix, that Ubuntu is carrying from cjwatson.
Got missed out in previous pull requests. Btrfs recognition in fstype.
the patch queue contains sync with latest dash, sh4 fix by Debian porters,
dprintf usage in ipconfig, kinit and nfsmount instead of buggy DEBUG
macro. ipconfig memcpy usage to avoid strict aliasing warnings.

Dom0 hang on SuSE 9.3 IA64
I''m having problems booting Dom0 on an unbranded server.
Server is running SuSE 9.3 x86_64 and has been working fine for a couple
of years as a standard boot pc. I installed the 2.0.5c version of Xen
which is part of the SuSE repository. I cannot boot into Xen though,
booting Dom0 stops after:
NET: Registered protocol family 16
I know from a normal boot that the next part is PCI

Xen boots to blank screen
It seems like there are several messages in the archive and in various
forums about this problem, but I do not see a clear course of action for how
to solve it. I am relatively new to Linux, compounding my problem. I just
built a new machine for the express purpose of running Xen so my girlfriend
and I could experiment and learn about different Linux distros. I am running
on an Intel DG35EC

"Boot loader did not return any data" to make HVM to PV
Hello
I''m trying to convert a HVM to PV dom0. The domU is a 10SP2 SLED (
Kernel 2.6.16.60-0.21 i386) and is a SLES11SP2 dom0 (Kernel
3.0.13-0.27-xen 64bit).
The truth is that every tutorial I see it differently and I do not
know where this error.
When I start the domU, pvgrub shows the options but when I select the
kenel-xen, returns the error "Boot loader did not return any

[PATCH] run-init: add drop_capabilities support
Building on the work in ff0a614bd724f6c4c6a5014a9955dc1bc028f336,
this moves the capability code down into the run-init library, so that
run-init can use it as well, via the new "-d" flag.
