HDT site down??
I have dyndns.org account, so added the name below and mapped the IP
address to it for now. Rather than having to remember the number.
http://hdt-project.dyndns.org/
Not sure what the status is.

Hi all,
Rackspace had to patch and reboot our server, which is why the site was
down for the past few hours. It looks like we're back now!
Details here: https://community.rackspace.com/general/f/53/t/4978

hdt-project.org no IP?
The date format may have been an issue, and I had noticed the whois
changed the expiration date later to 2018, but dig with my local and with
google dns still comes back with no ip. If you addess the gandi dns servers
you do get the ip address?? So not sure why it has updated the other dns

I have a dyndns.org account, and had mapped an address to the IP and it

HDT site down??
Update. I renewed the dns for $16.67? Did the same last year, but it actually
showed it was expired last year? This year it just stopped working and dig
was showing it not expiring till next year? So, it seems to be back up. Don't
have any control on site, but anyone with an account can renew it.

New disk detection: feedback
Hi all,
I have started a new branch to play with disk detection.
The CLI looks like:
http://pub.mouraf.org/syslinux/disks.png
The menu:
http://pub.mouraf.org/syslinux/disks-menu-2.png
Does anyone have feedback on it? hpa requested MiB values for partitions
length and erwan a more granular CLI (show disk 0x80 instead of show
disk listing all disks).
Any other take? There is a *LOT* of

HDT 0.3.2 is out
HDT 0.3.2 is out and mainly add a better disk management
My previous work on disks was a little bit limited and incomplete.
Since pierre did a massive rework that allow hdt to feature disks &
partitions detection.
On the menu side, the "Disk" menu is now extended to show disks' partitions.
On the cli side, we now have more commands :
hdt> show disk
This command will show a

HDT 0.3.3 has just been released.
This release aims at solving some CLI bugs and adds a some new memory
mapping detection.
I'd like to thanks Dag Wieers for reporting many CLI bugs & pierre for
his work on the memory mapping.
Here come the changelog:
- A new memory mode
Memory items can be reached via the new "memory>" mode.
- Memory mapping display

[Pull request] disklib: fixes for write functions
Hello Erwan,
You will find below a pull request for the bug reported by Robert Jordan
in the disk library.
The first patch is the one he tested (see
http://syslinux.zytor.com/archives/2010-September/015341.html) and
the second one is a sanity check for the number of sectors written by call (
see http://syslinux.zytor.com/archives/2010-September/015342.html).
Thanks,

You mean the menu mode isn't working whereas the cli mode works ?

How to glue com32 module in grub2 ?
Hello Erwan and others,
I am running HDT from grub2 with memdisk. I have informed the success of
booting hdt to the grub2 list. Some developers are very much interested
to this issue and they are showing their interest to make a glue
between com32 and grub2 so that hdt can be loaded without memdisk. It
is really very exciting to have hdt as an inbuilt feature of grub2.
Could any one kindly

Introducing a new com32 module : HDT
Since a while, I've been contributing some code to syslinux to improve
the hardware detection.
Most of that code have been revamped from other project like dmidecode
or the linux kernel itself.
The com32 api is really a nice play for developing new features.
All of that work is only available in libraries or sample code.

SpamFilter on HDT trac
All,
As you may have noticed, the spam situation on the trac got out of
control lately (~80 new spam tickets daily).
I have upgraded to the latest stable Ubuntu trac release
(0.11.5-2ubuntu1.1) and installed the SpamFilter plugin. Currently, it
is only in training mode (won't actively block), but this will change
in the next couple of weeks.
Let me know if you find any issue.
Thanks,
