Tab formatting in dummy.coef.R
Happy New Year
I recognize this is a low priority issue, but... I'll fix it if you let
me.
There are some TABs where R style calls for 4 spaces. For example
R-3.0.2/src/library/stats/R/dummy.coef.R.
I never noticed this until today, when I was stranded on a deserted island
with only the R source code and a Swiss Army knife (vi). Now I realize my
~.vimrc has tabstop set at 2, and it makes

Package: xen-utils-4.0
Version: 4.0.1-5.7
Severity: important
After Upgrading to xen-utils 4.0.1-5.7 my pygrub Xen VMs won't boot. Running pygrub manually shows:

[Fwd: Re: [Fwd: failure delivery]]
I appear to have hit one of the "drop" issues raised in some discussions
a couple of years ago by Frank Harrell. They don't seem to have been
fixed, and I'm under some pressure to get a quick solution for a
forecasting task I'm doing.
I have been modelling some retail sales data, and the days just after
Thanksgiving (US version!) are important. So I created some dummy

Selecting groups with R
I have a data set similar to the following:
Color Score
RED 10
RED 13
RED 12
WHITE 22
WHITE 27
WHITE 25
BLUE 18
BLUE 17
BLUE 16
and I am trying to to select just the values of Color that are equal to RED
or WHITE, excluding the BLUE.
I've tried the following:

unsafe_symlink change (Re: CVS update: rsync)
The patch from 2-1/2 years ago for changing copy-unsafe-links to follow
unsafe links on the destination side also included essentially this patch.
When I looked at it, however, I asked why in the world is unsafe_symlink()
doing strdup() in the first place. I think you could get rid of the
calls to strdup() and the new local variables and possibly do a couple
casts inside the function instead.

[PATCHv9 0/2] virtio_console: Add rproc_serial driver
This patch-set introduces a new virtio type "rproc_serial" for communicating
with remote processors over shared memory. The driver depends on the
the remoteproc framework. As preparation for introducing "rproc_serial"
I've done a refactoring of the transmit buffer handling.
NOTE: These two patches are identical to first two patches of the V8 patch-set,

Unhelpful error message when matching hosts in access list [PATCH]
Greetings,
As previously reported by me to the Debian bug tracking system:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
An access list in rsyncd.conf may contain hostnames as well as
addresses. It may contain several patterns to match against.
address_match (in access.c) does this by trying to match hostname and
address against each of the patterns until a match is

[PATCH V2 0/6] virtio-trace: Support virtio-trace
Hi All,
The following patch set provides a low-overhead system for collecting kernel
tracing data of guests by a host in a virtualization environment.
A guest OS generally shares some devices with other guests or a host, so
reasons of any problems occurring in a guest may be from other guests or a host.
Then, to collect some tracing data of a number of guests and a host is needed

pre-merge checks are switching to buildkite build system
Hello friends,
We are switching the pre-merge test build system from Jenkins to Buildkite.
That will give authors and reviewers more transparency on what's going on
during the build process. For now only members of "pre-merge beta testing"
[0] group are affected.
As usual, please tell us if something is off.

[PATCHv6 0/3] virtio_console: Add rproc_serial device
From: Sjur Br?ndeland <sjur.brandeland at stericsson.com>
I thought rebasing rproc_serial to linux-next was going to be trivial.
But when starting the merge I realized that I had to refactor the
the patches from Masami Hiramatsu. The splice support has the same issue
as I faced, with different type of buffers in the out_vq.
So I ended up refactoring the splice functionality. The code
