I removed the centos bind build and installed bind 9.9.3 from ISC source, and went to /usr/local/samba/private/named.conf and changed the line from bind 9.8 to bind 9.9 and now I get this error and named will not start with the include line for samba in /etc/named.conf: get: "dlz_dlopen: incorrect version 2 should be 1 in '/usr/local/samba/lib/bind9/dlz_bind9_9.so'" Help!

Recently I migrated to samba4 in my company. So far so good. debian 6 samba4.1.0pre1 bind9.9.1-P1 (working pretty well. it even updates the reverse zone and no problems at all with the forwarder) ntp-4.2.6p5 All services authenticating with samba4: mail (postfix + dovecot + squirrelmail), jabber (openfire), proxy (squid), even MS Sql server 2000, Net Support Manager and GFI Endpoint Security.

A records added manually get the answer: unknown host. No matter how they are added. I tried using MMC and samba-tool. I can see them in MMC and with samba-tool, but when I do tests again my samba server using ping or nslookup the answer is unknown host. KB and I were looking at repositories to import into git.centos.org recently, and we found the e1000e package -- a rebuild of the Intel e1000 driver for the x4c kernel. Solo entendí bien lo de no usar el mouse jejeje. De echo es algo que yo me estoy acostumbrando bastante, a no tener que agarrar el mouse para todo, me resulta más fácil y rápido hacer las cosas sin sacar las manos del teclado.
