Answered time on channel
It seems that what ever I set in my answer handler does not show up in the hangup handler. In order to do billing I can't rely on the g option where the caller hangs up the call. Spurious hangups on Sangoma A102d, Trixbox 2.6.1
[also posted on Trixbox trunk forum] I am also working with Sangoma directly to debug this, but so far no real luck. TrixBox 2.6.1, A102d card with V33 firmware (latest) and WANPIPE 3.2.6 (3.2.7 is out, but nothing has changed that would affect this problem). Asterisk is not showing the correct Incomming CallerID
Hi Everyone, I have an asterisk box in my office. It does not display the correct Incomming Caller id. For incomming we are using ISDN Bri line which is terminated in a Digium 4 port bri card (B410P). Like if a number say 02 12345678 calls to our line asterisk displays it 12 12345678. See: core show function HANGUPCAUSE Some thing like this IIRC: Set(my_cause=${HANGUPCAUSE(${CHANNEL(name)},tech)}) Remember the incoming leg of the call and the outgoing leg of the call are different channels. how to check Asterisk SIP registration
Hi, This is the first time I experience this problem with Asterisk: all of a sudden SIP registrations stopped working. Active calls kept working but new calls could not be established (I did NOT perform a "graceful restart"). Besides, would a "restart gracefully" actually deny SIP registration? Hangup hook to put back a call into a queue

Blind Transfer Won't Hangup
I'm using FreePBX 2.5.2.2 with Asterisk 1.6.1.4. If I make a call and then decide to blind transfer them using ## my side of the call is not hung up. Instead it sends me to voicemail.
