Multi CDRom Volume
Hi,
I''m using Xen since few months and have a lot of fun with it in a
production environnement.
I''ve a question about how to change the CDROM (iso file) attachement to
a guest ?
My configuration is :
Hypervisor running debian etch, no X env, Full VT support.
When I want to install a new machine from iso CD, if more than one CD,
I''m not able to switch to next CD.

Setting CDROM parms
My apologies in advance for asking such an elementary question. I
called myself searching the Installation Guide and Deployment Guide,
with no success.
The situation is that I bought a Lite-On ATAPI iHAP122 that will not
burn DVDs unless I use hdparm to turn dma off. I bought that drive
because it was a rare beige drive. Until I can find a decent DVD burner
and/or get a Windows machine put

Linux PV Drivers - VBD device not loading - Cannot get Major 3/22 for ide
I am trying to get PV drivers running on both Centos 5.1 and Centos 5.3
HVMs, my DomU is Centos 5.2 with Xen 3.31. For 5.1 I install the
kmod-xenpv RPM but for 5.3 the drivers seem to be built-in.
For the network drivers to work I had to unload the Realtek NIC driver
and renamed its .ko files to stop it loading. Adding the Xen-Vnif alias
to modprobe.conf then got the PV NICs working nicely (Much

Quantum IDE HDD DMA issue.
I am running RH 7.3 with kernel 2.4.18-27.7.x.
Recently I have added a new 60GB Quantum IDE hard drive to the server. I
have set it up as a MASTER on a separate IDE channel. Two partitions on
the /dev/hdc are /dev/hdc1, /dev/hdc2 - both using ext3.
For more detailed HDD parameters, this is 'hdparm -i /dev/hdc':

Dovecot's deliver trouble (...probably bug?)
Hello everybody!
I am a Linux admin trying to move my mail
system based on qmail to the software which is more spam-protected:
exim4 + dovecot-1.0rc15 + pgsql . I've downloaded and rebuild dovecot
from src.rpm (for fc4). During
the testing stage I've discovered two troubles:
1) the problem with deliver (...I'm not sure it's a really bug). Here

Critical XRay fixes for Arm32
I see. Thanks for clarifying.
I'm Ok with merging these if Dean agrees, as I believe he's the code owner.
Thanks,
Hans

Critical XRay fixes for Arm32
I'm wondering why the lit tests didn't catch this as part of testing rc1 on ARM.

How is XRay tested? IIRC, Renato didn't see any test failures on ARM?
Merging sounds reasonbaly, I'd just like to understand what's the risk
for the branch.

Workaround for RH #502499?
I have a workstation with a Gigbyte board and an Intel Corporation 82801EB (ICH5) SATA Controller (rev 02) that's apparently getting bitten by https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=502499
It's running CentOS 5.4 32 bit, and the user is suffering from high load and sluggish response whenever a disk write of more than a few MB is made. iostat shows the disk at 100%.

Quadratic Programming
Hi all!
I have a little question concerning quadprog. To make it simple I'll start by stating the problem:
I want to minimize
h(d,delta)=0.5d^T B d +nabla(f(x))^T d +rho*delta^2
With respect to d\in R^n and delta \in R. I obviously have constraints (depending on both d and delta).
Solve.QP does give me a good result for d but I cannot obtain anything for delta. Simce dim(Dmat)=n and

XRay: Demo on x86_64/Linux almost done; some questions.
Hi Dean,
I have a question for 32-bit platforms. I see in the code that you used the
following in compiler-rt/trunk/lib/xray/xray_interface_internal.h :
struct XRaySledEntry {
uint64_t Address;
uint64_t Function;
unsigned char Kind;
unsigned char AlwaysInstrument;
unsigned char Padding[14]; // Need 32 bytes
};
And the peer code in llvm/trunk/lib/Target/X86/X86MCInstLower.cpp :
