Interrupt storm with shared interrupt on digi(4)
I have an on-going problem with DigiBoard Xem boards causing interrupt
storms (since 4.x days). The FreeBSD driver polls the board and
doesn't have a functional interrupt handler (and Linux behaves in the
same way). It seems that under some conditions, the board will assert
its interrupt line and, since there's no interrupt handler to clear
whatever triggered the interrupt, the IRQ is

displaying sample size in boxplots
Hi,
I was wondering if there is a ready made function or parameter
for indicating the sample size in boxplots?
Here's what I came up with so far:
library(ISwR)
data(energy)
attach(energy)
boxplot(expend~stature)
sample.size <- tapply(expend, stature, length)
sample.size <- paste("N=", sample.size, sep="")
mtext(sample.size, at=1:length(unique(stature)), line=2,

9.3p1 Daemon Rejects Client Connections on armv7l-dey-linux-gnueabihf w/ GCC 10/11/12
I have an NXP i.MX6-based armv7l-dey-linux-gnueabihf system in which I
am seeing some as-yet-unaccountable behavior in sshd when compiled with
Arm/GCC 10/11/12. That is, when attempting to scp/slogin/ssh to
'root@<host>', where <host> is either a name or IPv4 or IPv6 address,
the connection is quickly closed by the server without prompting for a
password.
The variable I can

Two ISDN cards on same machine
Hi everybody,
I have a Asterisk installation working with a Digi card (HFC-S PCI A ISDN card) and another Asterisk installation with a Digium (Digium Wildcard TE110P T1/E1 Card). For Digium I used zaptel drivers but Digi works with bristuff drivers.
Both installations work fine and are connected to two different phone lines.
What I want to do is let calls incoming on the Digi installation be

slightly less random random macs
Hello all,
There''s been many posts lately about problems that stem from either
duplicate macs, non static macs and other networking issues that would
be averted if a mac was specified upon vm creation.
I''ve been using this little function I wrote in my shell scripts that
setup dom-u''s from a csv file and its worked rather well, lets you
control the prefix and

Digi QuadMicro ISDN adapter with asterisk?
Hi all,
Has anybody used this card (Digi QuadMicro) with asterisk or can anybody
tell me the likelyhood of it working out OK?
I need a multiport BRI adapter for use with asterisk in Japan and this card
seems to support INS64 (Japanese BRI standard) and also CAPI 2.0.
here is a link to the datasheet:

Unable to forward frame/voice
Hi,
We've exhausted our internal capabilities as well as Sangoma tech support and
were hoping someone with some expertise could help us with a pointer. Briefly,
our issue is as follows.
Periodically (several times an hour), we get either of the following error
messages in our asterisk messages log. These correspond with dropped outbound
calls on a one-to-one basis when the second error

Re: Error: Migration not permitted with assigned PCIdevice
We use Digi Serial-over-IP devices to pass through serial ports to domUs. We''ve had success with the Digi One SP, PortServer TS, and Passport devices. I currently use the Passport 48 for IP access to all of my serial consoles (Ethernet switches, RAID arrays, FC switches, etc.) as well as to pass through a modem to my HylaFAX server, which is in a Xen domU.

Combining Data Sets w/ Weights
Hello All,
I am still a beginner with R, and I only have a week or two under my belt so
far.
I'm working with NHANES anthropometric data on stature. I have two sets of
data that have different statistical weights. I'm trying to combine those
two data sets into one "mega-set" while retaining each data point's
individual weight.
If you have any idea as to how this is

removing specified length of text after a period in dataframe of char's
Dear all,
I'm trying to remove some text after the period (a decimal point) in
the data frame 'hi', below. This is one step in formatting a table. So
I would like e.g.
"2.0" to become "2"
and "5.3" to be "5.3",
where the variable digordered contains the number of digits after the
decimal that I would like to display, in the same order in which

A Memoir on FastCGI and Apache
With the release of our filmfury.com project, I''ve been trying to
rise to the stature of a true system administrator in the last couple
of days (haha). I''m trying to understand how all of the pieces to
this apache/fastcgi deployment fit together.
Here''s what I''ve learned so far:
* You need a separate FastCGI server for each Rails application on
