Install oVirt in fc11/fc12
Hi.
Show you how to install oVirt in FC11/FC12? I acted on instructions
http://ovirt.et.redhat.com/install-instructions.html, but there were
problems with the versions of the module locale (requires 2.0.4 and
installed 2.0.5).
WBR,
Fyodor.

Proposals for making configure_from_network function works in f13
Hi
I am running a pxe diskless node in f13 and I have some proposals to make
ovirt-early working in this version.
nash is no more available (nash/mkinitrd is replaced by dracut), so this
following command fails :
"echo "network --device $DEVICE --bootproto dhcp" | nash"
it makes the network configuration incomplete. I replace the linuxrc command by
dhclient and it's

Backspace key does not work in a ssh chroot jail
I setup a ssh chroot jail following this[1] guide. It works for my user to login, use ls and use scp which is all I really want. I do have a problem I cannot solve: when connected and navigating the filesystem, the backspace key actually moves the cursor forward and does not delete what I type.
I may have found a hint from some googling that readline will read in /etc/inputrc on login but if

I get an error when FreeIPA is set up. Then a whole heap of notices and warning about a missing dependancy (presumably FreeIPA)

Adding root CA certificates for use by NSS applications?
I'm trying to get a third party application to use the root CA
certificate of an SSL proxy - but can't work out how to install the cert
for use by all users on CentOS 7
I have the proxy vendor's supplied CA cert in PEM format
I can install the cert in a user's home directory using 'certutil' - and
the application works OK - but I would like to do 'something' to

smbldap-showuser and ldapsearch can't show groups user belongs to.
Quick-n-easy questions:
Let's say user raub is added to group nosy using smbldap-groupmod
smbldap-groupmod -m raub nosy
Now, according to ol' ldapsearch,
ldapsearch -vvv -H "ldaps://ldap.example.com" -D
"uid=admin,ou=People,dc=example,dc=com" -W -b "dc=example,dc=com" -s
sub "(cn-nosy)"
group nosy has a dn attribute that looks like this

Profile permissions issue? Samba and FDS problem
First some information on the system set up.
OS: CentOS 4.3
Samba 3.0.10
FDS 7.1
Samba is acting as a PDC for our network. We have both windows 2000 and
windows XP client machines. They are all joined to our domain. Everything
"seems" to be fine except that when a user logs into a machine they can not
make even simple changes to setting such as folder options (ie. view file
extensions).
