some (minor) Rd issue: line breaking in \S4method within \usage{}
Hi, this is perhaps not so much an issue, but as you are currently working on the Rd parser anyway... When you want to document specific S4 methods for an S4 generic by \S4method{} within a \usage{} environment, and the second (signature_list) argument is "long", be it because you use multiple dispatch, be it because you use long class-names, (or both), one would probably like to be

help with oop in R - class structure and syntex
Hi, I read section 5, oop, of the R lang doc, and I am still not sure I understand how to build a class in R for oop. I thought that since I understand the oop syntex of Java and VB, I am wondering if the R programmig experts could help me out by comparing and contrasting the oop syntex in R with that of Java. For example, the basic class structure in Java is like this: public class Bicycle {

[LLVMdev] How to properly use copyValue?
Since there are no constructors for Value, how do you properly insert a new Value? If I create a pointer Value *newValue and then call AA.copyValue(oldValue, newValue), this does not work, since newValue is not allocated. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... búsqueda y sustitución masiva

[LLVMdev] How to properly use copyValue?
Nick, First, thanks for responding. Secondly, I just want to create an exact copy of an already exisitng Value, this should be pretty simple to do but I'm unclear on how to do this? For example, PHINode::getIncomingValue (unsigned) returns a "Value" and I want to make a copy of that Value. Is there some other way to do this other than copyValue() that I'm missing? On Sat,

override variables
Hi, I am trying to allow certain nodes to override variables in inherited classes. Here''s an example: node ''my.server.com'' inherits webserver {} node ''other.server.com'' inherits webserver { $var = "newvalue" } node webserver { $var = "value" include snmp, dns, classx } In this example classx ends up using

S4 assignment \alias and \usage
What is the Rd file alias and usage syntax for an S4 assignment method? I have been trying variations on \alias{TSdoc<-,default-method} \usage{ \S4method{TSdoc}{default}(x) <- value but so far I have not got it right according to various codoc, etc, checks. [LLVMdev] Predicated Vector Operations
I'm trying to understand how predicated/masked instructions can be generated in llvm, specifically an instruction where a set bit in the mask will write the new result into the corresponding vector lane in the destination and a clear bit will cause the lane in the destination to remain what it was before the instruction executed. I've seen a few places that suggest 'select' is the

setClass question
I would like to add a class to the SparseM package. I have a class "matrix.csr" that describes a matrix in compressed sparse row format, now I would like a class matrix.diag.csr that describes such objects when they happen to be diagonal. The idea is that matrix.diag.csr objects should behave (later in life) exactly like matrix.csr objects, the distinction is only needed in order to
