Bug repository down Friday
There needs to be a physical relocation of servers tomorrow (email and home directories), so things are likely to be dysfunctional for the day (hopefully not more). I'll be out of email reach myself, for the same reason. -- O__ ---- Peter Dalgaard ?ster Farimagsgade 5, Entr.B c/ /'_ --- Dept. of Biostatistics PO Box 2099, 1014 Cph. K (*) \(*) -- University of

Leaky bucket in TC
Hi, I am trying to control bandwidths of the connections by using TC with HTB. But I want to implement Leaky Bucket on this structure so as to have a straight flow. Due to being new in this area, could anyone help me how I could do this? Does TC support leaky bucket? Best regards, Fatih Duzova

R: RE: R: Re: R: Re: chol( neg.def.matrix ) WAS: Re: Choleski and Choleski with pivoting of matrix fails
Thanks for your message! Actually it works quite well for me too. If I then take the trace of the final result below, I end up with a number made up of both a real and an imaginary part. This does not probably mean much if the trace of the matrix below givens me info about the degrees of freedom of a model... Simona >----Messaggio originale---- >Da: RVaradhan at jhmi.edu >Data:

leaky bucket on bursty multicast
Hi all, I have an average 2mbit multicast stream that once in a while bursts high (up to 20mbit/s) in short periods (about 200ms). Could anyone please help me with directions using tc for configuing leaky bucket shaping to this stream? I have a 5mbit/s ceiling. My system is running gentoo linux 2.6.14, and I have compiled in all QoS modules. Thanks. Oivind

R: Re: R: Re: chol( neg.def.matrix ) WAS: Re: Choleski and Choleski with pivoting of matrix fails
Dear Peter, thank you very much for your answer. My problem is that I need to calculate the following quantity: solve(chol(A)%*%Y) Y is a 3*3 diagonal matrix and A is a 3*3 matrix. Unfortunately one eigenvalue of A is negative. I can anyway take the square root of A but when I multiply it by Y, the imaginary part of the square root of A is dropped, and I do not get the right answer. I tried

Dragon Age Origins Awakening
I have managed to install DAO:Awakening. It is working in the sense that you can get into the game and play the game but a lot of item text is missing. For example, many new items have no description and appear in my inventory as gxa_im_(code) . Also I have unlocked battlemage by buying the book, however I cannot level up as battlemage, I cannot click the specialization button, nor does any text

No antialiasing with 2.7.0
Finally, the RPMs for 2.7.0 arrived, but it looks like they were not built against the Cairo libs, at least not on F8 (based on the reports, I should probably wait a couple of weeks before upgrading to F9). > capabilities() jpeg png tcltk X11 aqua http/ftp sockets libxml TRUE TRUE TRUE TRUE FALSE TRUE TRUE TRUE fifo cledit

2.6.1 scheduled for November 26
This is to announce that we plan to release R version 2.6.1 on Monday, November 26, 2007. The current experience is that beta releases receive very little end-user testing and that most bugs are not found until (shortly) after release. Accordingly, we have decided this time to skip the beta phase and go directly for one week of RC (Release Candidate) versions. The main bugs to get rid of are the
