WISH: "R CMD build" should use the (correct) package name (PR#9267)
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I happened to be looking at that myself yesterday. It is relatively easy to get the package name from the DESCRIPTION file and not the directory name. But there are other issues. I'll look into this further in a week or two. D. ahenningsen at agric-econ.uni-kiel.de wrote: > Full_Name: Arne Henningsen > Version: >= 2.3.0 > OS: Linux

Rounding in print.summaryDefault()
Dear all I am happy that summary.default() no longer rounds since R 3.4.0. However, in R 3.4.0, in a few cases, print.summaryDefault() rounds the mean value (and the median value) differently on my GNU/Linux machine and on my colleague's MS-Windows machine. Here is a small (simplified) reproducible example: R> a <- 1234568.01 + c(0:1) R> summary(a) Output on MS-Windows (expected

Package Matrix
Hi Dirk! It would be great if you could upload a (Debian) package "r-cran-matrix" that includes the latest version of the R package "Matrix" to http://cran.r-project.org/bin/linux/ubuntu/intrepid/ "r-recommended" depends on "r-cran-matrix", but only the (outdated) version that shipped with intrepid (0.999375-10-1) is currently available. Rounding in print.summaryDefault()
Might this be related to the Linux version? I'm testing on one of our university servers, and they tend to be deprived of regular updates sometimes... (Dirk, sorry for sending you this twice.) > Sys.info() sysname "Linux" release

RPM package wish list
hello, Does our beloved Centos project have a page where one can request that an RPM package be built, especially for C5? How about alerts when those requests have been satisfied? I know about 3rd party repos like rpmforge, epel, and kbextras. I can search those in YUM. Centos seems to have specialized as a server OS in the past, but my experience is that it is an up and coming

tcltk wish: Add tclObj.raw method for converting raw vectors to tclObj
Greetings, I have submitted a bug report / wish to the R Bug tracker (https://bugs.r-project.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=14939), but I'd like to make this request here as well. Essentially, I was wondering if it would be possible to add another c routine to be called by as.TclObj for raw vectors. Right now, as.raw() is supported for objects of type "tclObj" (IIRC this change was

wish: module max connections
Hello, I am not subscribed to the list, but I would like to post a wish for the rsyncd functionality. Currently, the option "max connections" allow to limit the sum of all connections, but, it seems to me, that there is no way to get something like a "module max connections". The problem I have is that some people run rsync to my system with cron, every day, but if the

RFE wish list
Actually, it is not a list.. but just something that''ll be very useful to me in my business. If crossbow/virtual interfaces can provide a flow that can capture bandwidth usage over a period of time (including 95 percentile), that''ll be great! Is this possible? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org

New site for feature wish-list: Asteriskideas.org
Friends, For a long time, we needed a platform for managing feature requests - things that the community or developers would like to see in Asterisk. In the bug tracker we used to have a "feature request" category, but there was no good way to handle them in the bug tracker and they where in the way for the work done by developers in the tracker. The new site is basically a blog

One more for the wish list
Having just upgraded to 063.3 reminds me of a wish I have had for a long time. Could we not have libraries (sorry, packages) other than for the base distribution in a subdirectory [Rpath]/library/local/ or perhaps /library/packages. This tiny change would make administration so much simpler; I could move all the old packages into the new library in one fell swoop. Granted it's not hopelessly
