build rpvm under cygwin
I tried ot build rpvm in my own makefile. But runs into some linker errors like e.g. undefined reference to `_R_alloc' My enviornment looks like this: CYGWIN pvm 3.4 compiled under cygwin myself R installed from the rw2001.exe setup file. I guess that the R under rw2001.exe was build with some other compiler? I then tried to compile R myself under CYGWIN but runs into the following

termplot has problems with a single term (fix included) (PR#6675)
The bug exists on R-1.9.0-alpha compiled the 10/3. Termplot has a problem if either the model only contains a single term or if asked to plot a single term. In addition there are problems with the option se = TRUE. Analysis: termplot starts with terms <- if (is.null(terms)) predict(model, type = "terms", se = se) else predict(model, type = "terms", se = se,

Unable to compile R-2.1.0
I downloaded the latest R-2.1.0 tarball from cran (the one of 18/4/05) to compile it under FreeBSD. Take into account that I compiled R-2.0.1 in the same machine and OS like a charme, flawlessly and at the very fiirst shot. Now with R-2.1.0, ./configure doesn't seem to say anything alarming but make stops. Here an extract of both ./configure and make: # ./configure

Package installation
Hi all, I'm very new to R. I have installed R 1.9.0 on Linux (Fedora). Now I got an self-made package comprising R functions as well as C-Code which are used in several R functions. I installed the package without any error (see install log below). Then, I checked in /usr/lib/R/library if the package izbi exists and it exists. But whenever I try to load the library on the command line I

Regarding S4 and libnss_winbind.so
Apparently this didn't/doesn't build on FreeBSD by default...or is it "doesn't build at all". If it is buildable, what should I do to build it, as without it...see wiki: http://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba4/Winbind Cheers, TMS III
