Writing lgrindefs
Dear all,
I'm writing a lgrind definition for R. Lgrind is a program to produce
pretty program listings for inclusion in LaTeX documents. Does anybody
here have any experience with lgrindefs?
My definition now looks like this:

including r code in a latex file
Dear R people,
The header practically says it all. I was wanting to include r code in a
Latex file. Since R code using{ and }, which are interpreted by Latex as
control characters, I would expect it to get upset.
I believe that \{ would probably print as {, but I hoping I don't have to
go through the code and add lots of \. I would rather use some global
commannd, along the lines of

Debugging VisualBasic application
Hi, I'm testing a VBasic application with wine and currently found a issue that appears to be on the application side, but it works fine on the original WinXP client.
The only error I get is:
Code:
fixme:rpc:I_RpcWindowProc (0x10048,0000001c,00000001,00000000): stub
Ref: http://img38.imageshack.us/img38/7572/wberrorimpresora.png
Anybody has seen this?, any advice on debugging the error?

[patch] known hosts with ports
Hello. We are currently installing a new firewall, and would like to use a
mixture of NAT and port mapping to have a single "gateway" host address
which exposes a range of open ports, each of which maps to sshd of a
different host in our internal network (e.g. ssh.jesus.cam.ac.uk on port
6789 maps to internal host1 port 22 whereas ssh.jesus.cam.ac.uk on port 6790
maps to internal

ASP running on a Linux Machine
Good morning all,
I currently have a website that was written in ASP back in 1999. The
system is currently running Windows 2003 Server with MsSQL. Before
everyone flames me for being in the wrong place, I was wondering if
there is a way to allow centos to run old ASP code? I know years ago
this wasn't possible without a program like ChiliASP, but noow I heard
rumor that apache might have

Smartest way to evaluate question forms
Hi,
I'm trying to help a friend who is doing a thesis in a nurse college, to
evaluate medical question forms.
There are about 30 questions giving more than 110 parameters to describe
each responding person's (gender, health etc.) and there are about 120
question forms to evaluate.
I have basically 2 questions.
1. What to search for.
2. How to evaluate it statisticaly.
As for No. 1. I have

tkrplot
The package tkrplot now works in OS X (Jaguar). The
core of the problem is that the load function in tcl does not accept
bundles, but needs dynamic libraries (I verfied this using the
native version of tclsh and Wish). But the config files in
the tkrplot package (as in all packages) build bundles, not
libraries. Thus I said in the src directorry of the tkrplot package
gcc -dynamiclib

dyn.load()
Dear R-help,
I am trying to use routines written in C and Embedded SQL on Sybase in R using dyn.load().
I compiled a couple of test functions into a .so file which I tried to load with R's dynl.load(). This is what happened:
> dyn.load("libRClib.so")
Error in dyn.load(x, as.logical(local), as.logical(now)) :

Logging of all connections
Tom
Is there a way that I can have all traffic logged to messages. I realise
this will generate huge logs, but I have enough disk space. My reason for
this is to monitor what traffic does go through my firewall.
TIA
